People need to remove the word “elites” from their way of describing the ruling class. It’s a cool-sounding, almost complimentary term. It also gives the impression that the people in power deserve to be there.

I’m not the first to say this but it’s a sentiment I definitely have come to agree with over time. Lexicon is important.
