Acts 28:11-16

Arrival at Rome
11 After three months we sailed in an Alexandrian ship whose figurehead was the Twin Brothers, which had wintered at the island. 12 And landing at Syracuse, we stayed three days. 13 From there we circled round and reached Rhegium. And after one day the south wind blew; and the next day we came to Puteoli, 14 where we found brethren, and were invited to stay with them seven days. And so we went toward Rome. 15 And from there, when the brethren heard about us, they came to meet us as far as Appii Forum and Three Inns. When Paul saw them, he thanked God and took courage.
16 Now when we came to Rome, the centurion delivered the prisoners to the captain of the guard; but Paul was permitted to dwell by himself with the soldier who guarded him.

Acts 28:17-22

Paul’s Ministry at Rome
17 And it came to pass after three days that Paul called the leaders of the Jews together. So when they had come together, he said to them: “Men and brethren, though I have done nothing against our people or the customs of our fathers, yet I was delivered as a prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans, 18 who, when they had examined me, wanted to let me go, because there was no cause for putting me to death. 19 But when the Jews spoke against it, I was compelled to appeal to Caesar, not that I had anything of which to accuse my nation. 20 For this reason therefore I have called for you, to see you and speak with you, because for the hope of Israel I am bound with this chain.”
21 Then they said to him, “We neither received letters from Judea concerning you, nor have any of the brethren who came reported or spoken any evil of you. 22 But we desire to hear from you what you think; for concerning this sect, we know that it is spoken against everywhere.”
Happy so many chose Jesus, got baptized, & started their walk with Him! Thankful Jesus meets us where we are, & shines His Glory loud enough to expose the rot, offer avenues of repentance & reconciliation, & keeps working on us even after the headlines move on to something else.

Let’s keep praying more & more people seek Him!

Let’s keep praying that He continues to sanctify & refine us!

Let’s keep praying for all who claim Christ, yet find themselves on one side or the other in these fractured denominations, & under spells so thick they cannot think correctly.

Let’s keep our pride in check & not act like buffoons over denominations crumbling left & right. Instead let’s keep praying for the body of Christ.

Let’s keep reminding people that we aren’t our sin. Our identity is in Christ, not in the usual suspects of self, skin color, sexual attraction, political beliefs, or any other worldly lust or physical attribute.

Let’s rise & shine, & give God the glory! Praise The Lord! 🙌🏻

Solid Scripture Saturday: Enjoy!

Jeremiah 17:9-10
The heart is more deceitful than all things and desperately wicked; who can understand it?
10 I, the Lord, search the heart, I test the mind, even to give to every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his deeds.

Deuteronomy 4:23-24
23 Watch yourselves, so that you do not forget the covenant of the Lord your God, which He made with you, and make yourself a graven image or the likeness of anything as the Lord your God has forbidden you. 24 For the Lord your God is a consuming fire. He is a jealous God.

Daniel 12:10
10 Many shall be purified and made white and tried. But the wicked shall do wickedly, and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.

Mark 10:45
45 For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”

Matthew 12:30

30 He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.

Heavenly Father,
We sing Your praises and rejoice in Your loving kindness! Thank You for giving us a solid foundation of faith so we can see the results of forces working through the crafters of darkness and false light. As they all work to distract us, we pray You reach those caught in webs of deception as they practice, live, and believe in the doctrines of demons You warned us to stay away from and rebuke. We ask You move through those who will become Your children so boldly that none can deny it. Please, Father, bring the lost to repentance, and use us to reach them so they will come to know You, follow Your Son, and learn to listen to Your Holy Ghost! We praise You, we bless You, and may our service to others bring You glory! Through Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

Acts 28:23-27

23 So when they had appointed him a day, many came to him at his lodging, to whom he explained and solemnly testified of the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus from both the Law of Moses and the Prophets, from morning till evening. 24 And some were persuaded by the things which were spoken, and some disbelieved. 25 So when they did not agree among themselves, they departed after Paul had said one word: “The Holy Spirit spoke rightly through Isaiah the prophet to our fathers, 26 saying,
‘Go to this people and say:
“Hearing you will hear, and shall not understand; And seeing you will see, and not perceive;
27 For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see withtheir eyes and hear with theirears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.” ’

Acts 28:28- 31

28 “Therefore let it be known to you that the salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles, and they will hear it!” 29 And when he had said these words, the Jews departed and had a great dispute among themselves.
30 Then Paul dwelt two whole years in his own rented house, and received all who came to him, 31 preaching the kingdom of God and teaching the things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ with all confidence, no one forbidding him.
Ephesians 1:1-6

Greeting
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, To the saints who are in Ephesus, and faithful in Christ Jesus:
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Redemption in Christ
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
Ephesians 1:7-12

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, 10 that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him. 11 In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, 12 that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.
Ephesians 1:13-17

13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.
Prayer for Spiritual Wisdom
15 Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, 16 do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,
Galatians 5:1; 13-17

1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
Heavenly Father,
We give thanks and praise for all You provide, and we’re especially grateful for the law, order, and the liberty we find through Your word and Jesus Christ. Father, we ask You forgive us for our sins, and we pray for Your help to extend that forgiveness and merciful grace to others. We ask You continue to inspire more people to join us in Your blessings of true freedom and life achieved by the death and resurrection of Your Son. We pray the fear of the Lord spreads across the land, along with repentance to turn our nation towards You. We ask You to keep revealing truth to more and more people, all for Your glory! In Jesus Christ’s name we pray, Amen.
Ephesians 1:18-23

18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power 20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.
22 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
Ephesians 2:1-7

By Grace Through Faith
And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.
But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
