🇫🇷 New Antifa Faction in France Claims “War” Against Catholic Community.

A previously unknown Antifa group has anonymously contacted the French press to claim responsibility for attacks targeting the Catholic community.

In a letter sent to the regional daily Dauphiné Libéré, the group proudly took credit for a criminal raid carried out in early July in southern France.

The militants vandalized and destroyed a place of worship, describing the operation as part of a “decolonial, antifascist, and anti-imperialist” struggle. They went further, openly declaring themselves “at war with Catholic civilization.”

The press release arrives at a particularly damaging moment for the French far-left militant scene. Over the past several months, the Antifa movement has been repeatedly shaken by a series of damaging revelations and setbacks.

Several prominent cadres have been exposed as active members of intelligence services, raising serious questions about infiltration and manipulation within the movement.

Other groups have faced scrutiny over substantial financial flows originating from Israel, sums that sit awkwardly with their usual anti-Zionist and “anti-imperialist” rhetoric.

The situation worsened when the movement’s best-known parliamentary figure was implicated in the assassination of young nationalist Quentin, with several of his close collaborators, some of whom worked within the National Assembly itself, subsequently imprisoned.

The authorities have not announced any investigation into this newly formed group, despite concerns that it could escalate to terrorist operations in the coming weeks.
