James Fulton Engstrom is the name of the baby whose case was officially recognized by the Catholic Church as a miracle attributed to the intercession of the Venerable Fulton J. Sheen, paving the way for his beatification.

On September 16, 2010, in Illinois (USA), James was born without a heartbeat or respiration. For 61 minutes, doctors tried to resuscitate him without success, and his death was declared. Faced with a humanly irreversible situation, the parents, Bonnie and Travis Engstrom, prayed for the intercession of Fulton Sheen, to whom they had great devotion, asking for the boy to live.

Unexpectedly and without scientific explanation, James's heart spontaneously started beating again after this long period.

Even more impressive: the boy showed no neurological damage, something considered impossible by medicine after so long without oxygenation.

The case was subjected to rigorous medical, theological, and scientific investigation by the Vatican. Independent experts confirmed the absence of a natural explanation, and the Church concluded that it was a true miracle, attributed to the intercession of Fulton Sheen.

This miracle is seen by many believers as a clear sign that God continues to act in history and confirms the sanctity of one of the greatest Catholic preachers of the 20th century.

This exact physiognomy was the face that over 20% of all male Spanish clergy saw before being gunned down by communist firing squads, this exact physiognomy was the face of the men that dug up hundreds of nuns and priests from their graves and defiled them, that slaughtered church goers in Spain and Russia, that bombed train stations in Weimar Germany, that starved 13 million Ukrainian's to death with a self righteous smirk, that watched uncaringly as Mongol savages raped their way through a defeated Berlin. That beat and massacred 25% of their own countrymen in Stalinist Gulags, that stabbed and shot the Romanovs to death as they desperately called out to God. This is the face of Red Terror, there is no reason why this refuse should exist in modern society.

He would have absolutely stormed that church with a machine gun if he thought he could get away with it.
