Last weekend we were guided around the beautiful remains of Reivaulx Abbey by our North Yorkshire Local Contact.
Going from one of the largest abbey complexes in Europe to ruins following the dissolution under Henry VIII.
What we can see, nearly 900 years since it's founding, is that beauty and strength persevere.

Our new leaflets have arrived!

Designed by our regional officers to address a topic that’s close to the heart of all those in Yorkshire. We have many activists citing the rape gang epidemic as their personal wake-up call to the struggle.

On January 29th, activists from across Yorkshire met up with Scarborough natives to stage a demo in front of the Clifton Hotel. Owned by Britannia, the hotel is currently booked out til July and is being used by the Home Office as an overflow for their asylum detention centres.

We leafleted the town, did a number of banner drops and finished with the demonstration. Police were on us as soon as we finished but after providing them the text from the speech they couldn't find grounds to hold anything against us and we continued on our way. Finishing the day with a hearty meal, fond farewells and a long drive home.

Child victims - some of whom reported being raped, abused, and in one case forced to perform sex acts on a group of 23 men while held at gunpoint - were often blamed for the ordeals they suffered.
This weekend Yorkshire, East Mids, West Mids and one lone North-Westerner took part in a PA Fitness challenge hike and scramble in the Peak District.
Ascending Wild Boar Clough, over rocks and through waterfalls, we topped out soaking wet then followed compass bearings across undulating peat moors to rejoin the Pennine Way, and descended alongside Torside Clough.
Everyone pushed themselves and there were a few unexpected waist-high dips in the stream but high spirits persisted and everyone made it in good time.

Plans are in the works for more challenging events like this soon so get signed up with your local region and get vetted to take part! 😄

Hull - March for Justice

The Welsh Government wants to remove over 200 statues, street names, pub names and memorial plaques in their anti white campaign to destroy our history. PA Wales activists went to Haverfordwest to find that one plaque has already been removed. Then went to Carmarthen to the Picton memorial. Leave our history alone. No to Communists destroying our heritage.
On Feb 12th, PA Yorkshire attended the United Hull march to reopen Operation Marksman.
After 2 years Marksman closed with no prosecutions.
This is despite 30+ arrests, 150+ devices seized and the victims providing names, faces, places, car registrations and photos of communications as well as injuries sustained.
One of the girls was brave enough to speak to the crowd which brought many to tears.
Attendance was good and PA Yorkshire will continue to support local efforts to reopen Operation Marksman and get justice for the survivors. We even gave a short interview to GBNews' Yorkshire correspondent.
