There is strictly speaking no such thing as journalistic privilege, says judge during High Court ruling to decide whether gardaí have the power to search the phone of journalist Emmet Corcoran in order to reveal the details of the source who tipped him off to a fire at a repossessed farm house in Strokestown two years ago.

We will be assembling at the Dail tomorrow at 1pm. For those who wish to support both protests the Customs house is only a 10 -15 minute walk away. The consensus amongst us is that it is vital to show solidarity to Tracey O' Mahoney who has done so much good work on all our behalfs. Unfortunately she has recieved horrendous abuse for sticking to her commitment to speak at this protest even though it was announced ten days before the one at the Customs house. Whatever you decide to do make sure to get out on the streets tomorrow.
