Academic Agent during his speech last night made a point that must be driven through people skulls if necessary. Every rival castle to the regime has been smashed, this is why the right attempts to desperately cling to Elon, Twitter and Ye. Democratic elites operate their regime from what is ostensibly the last castle. We must think long and hard about how we first strengthen our defences, operate in obscurity and one day plan for the assault on the last castle.

Congratulations to @NomosEvents on a very successful gathering last night in the heart of London. This was only their third event, but it went without any hitches and I think everybody had a lot of fun.

Five speeches, but also plenty of time for socialising.

The speeches were by Panama Hat, Academic Agent, Scrump, Evelyn, and myself.

It was my first speech since before covid - two and a half years - and it was daunting but apparently I did well. I will be checking the recording later today - hopefully it will be of sufficient quality to publish.

It was quite an unusual atmosphere at the event - laid back yet still professional. It's a new type of conference, and this excites me. I would certainly recommend that people keep an eye on Nomos.
The first of a number of speeches from Nomos London has just gone live on our Substack page!

It was a pleasure to present this introductory speech “Who is This We You Speak Of?” to all of those who where there at the time, it is now available for everyone else to read:

Also @MillennialWoes speech at @NomosEvents was great, it really stirs the imagination and gives a positive vision and hope for what we desire of the world, something of which, in these dark times, we need more.

I want to reiterate and expand on something I mentioned on our Millenniyule interview for Nomos:

It does not behove us in the dissident right to act like we are all activists. The support networks that help to keep leftist activists afloat does not apply to us, nor are we a able to ride a wave of propaganda that makes our movement socially and politically ascendant.

Instead our activism must be self funded, carried out under the ire of law enforcement, whilst being unable to make use of protections like bail funds and ideologically inclined defense lawyers.

However all is not lost, politics and especially political activism in our age is laughable and designed to be consumed like a crass pantomime. This I feel is to our benefit, by becoming confident and respectful representatives for our ideas and values in the public space we instantly distance ourselves both from the lunacy associated with left-wing activism, and the out of touch nonsense parroted by the powers that be.

I think this is the essence of the “sensible centre” as put forward by AA, Carl et al.

All it requires is that you, the individual engaging with content in this sphere, to pull your socks up and make yourself the most respectable version of you that you can be. Attempt to be successful as you can in your personal endeavours and let the confidence brewed by that success speak for your foundational values. Build a semblance of community in your locale with those you meet at Basket Weaving, Nomos Events, Scyldings and more.

We must be present, permanent and personable for decades to come if we ever hope to turn things round to our favour, Godspeed!
