2021 was a great year for my programming journey. I've learned lots of things in these months but now it's time for me to leave this platform and focus on studying. (I'll be online for limited time anyway)

Ehm... ehm... Aight, I'm just gonna make an announcement regarding Mega.nz-Bot 📢!

Lately the project wasn't maintained as I was thinking about abandoning the project but holy shi- it just got 150+ stars 🌟 and 200+ forks 🍴. So I made some improvements to make it more (somewhat) stable[?].


- Moved upload / download (/megadl) functions to a new Mega.nz wrapper based on Megatools cli (Megatools module)

- Fixed and added dependencies checker to startup script

- Added Dockerfile to the main repo

- Added support for filesplit v4.0

- Added an installer script to setup Mega.nz-Bot on your linux machine easily (supports only for apt and pacman package managers. It still on development stage tho, it might be buggy)

- Fixed import errors and removed some unnecessary variables



Oh and if you found any other bug which hasn't been fixed yet, please report it at @Nexa_bots ! I'll try my best to fix it asap

Since the amount of active users are rapidly increasing in @NexaUnzipper_bot (50+ per day), I received lots of bug reports 🐞. So after spending my free time to fix those bugs (depressed to see that old codebase again 😅), here's the updated version. It includes,


1. Backup system using gofile.io - Upload your files to gofie.io so you won't lose your extracted files after each server restart

2. Custom thumbnail support

3. Multi-part archive support (Archives ends with .001, .002, etc.)

4. Upload files larger than 2GB to gofile.io

5. Support for pyrogram v2

6. Various fixes and improvements,

- Execute shell commands without blocking the main thread
- Fixed saving data on incorrect database collection
- Show progress while uploading a file to telegram
- Updated file selection menu with 2 rows
- Fixed REPLY_MARKUP_TOO_LONG error
- Floodwait handling while uploading files
- Scale ffmpeg thumbnail for better support

Why❔
It's too damn annoying to see some random error raised in a bot while casually chatting with someone. To address a problem, you have to check what it is in the first place. So oviously everyone just opens up the web browser and do a quick google search.

With this bot you can search for those telegram api errors in inline mode and get information about them without leaving telegram 💪

How 👀
It indexs most of the telegram errors in a database. When you do a inline search it performs a full text search on database and return 10 of the most relevant results.


*This is a just side project that I made few months ago. Nothing new 👨‍🦯
