Ron Paul in a Senate hearing back in 2011 was calling out the lack of transparency around government's gold holdings. There apparently are suspicions that the gold is gone or the bars are gold plated.

Elon's right - there should be a review of this done every year.

If there's an audit, they need to make sure it's actually pure gold.

Back in 2017, Mitch McConnell, Steve Mnuchin, Brett Guthrie, and KY governor Matt Bevin were given access to the depository at Fort Knox to confirm the gold is still there. It's apparently "freakishly well secured" according to Bevin.

Elon posted incredible information on social security. Many exceed the age a human can actually live these days.

Also, I get that some kids and spouses receive social security from their dead parent/spouse, but if you look at the number of people receiving benefits, along with their age-ranges - it doesn't add up. I did some quick math on ages up to 199.

- 398,413,427 - The total number of people receiving benefits exceeds the entire US population
- 276,621,715 - The total number of people younger than retirement age equates to almost 80% of the population
- 16,052,331 - The total number of people 110 years old or older receiving benefits

Mayor Eric Adams insisted Sunday he has no plans to step down despite a litany of legal troubles and repeated calls for him to throw in the towel — telling a church gathering he’s on a mission from God.

“I am going nowhere,” Hizzoner said during morning remarks at the Maranatha Baptist Church in Queens Village.
