Years after Telegram added the pre entity with the language attribute, there is finally an official app that supports code syntax highlighting.

In case you don't know, Nekogram has already supported that few months ago 🥳

The freenom domain name used for the built-in proxy has expired, and it has become a "great value" domain so takes a lot of money to renew it.😅

They didn't even send email to remind before the expiration...

Telegram has banned the usage of "star" characters in names, including channel/group names.

Example: ⭐☆★✪✯

Since premium(paid) users will get a star icon with their name.

There are tons of other third party clients using our code without any proper authorship 😢

Due to the increase in spam activity recently, we enabled "Only members can send" and "Approve new members" in our discussion group.

After applying to join the group, our verification bot will send you a captcha in private chat. Your join request will be accepted after you finish the captcha.

Some MIUI users have experienced crashes immediately after starting the app, after our investigation, it's the fault of both MIUI and Telegram.
Telegram left a legacy code that wasn't doing anything for years.
However, the MIUI team decided to modify something, that makes a warning from it crashes the app.
We will fix this issue for Nekogram in the next update.

To temporarily work around this MIUI issue, you could use the following command:
settings put global wtf_is_fatal 0
Run it with ADB shell, or terminal emulator with root.

Note: If you can not enable auto translate (MLKit is broken), please check if you have used any app that will disable "Trackers", like App Manager. They might disabled the MLKit component.

MLKit works completely on your device, it's not a tracker, and clearly not all Google products are trackers.

Enable the component will fix the issue and, please, STOP using those dumb tracker blockers.
