AdvocateMe working with Maatouk's Law Group will be tackling the issues in relation to the Government’s failure to correctly apply the Public Health Act 2016 WA, such that; public health orders can only be made to an individual for the purpose of vaccination. Government cannot make generic public health orders on groups of individuals for the purposes of vaccination. They will also be seeking a lead for this purpose and they will be addressing key industries, such as FIFO, Health Care workers, Teachers, Mining and all other impacted industries. UPDATE ON STATEMENT OF POSITION

Hi Everyone, thankyou so much for the brilliant response with regards to the Position Statement. It was finalized today and sent to 150 + employers and is a powerful statement. We say a big thankyou to the team of Advocate Me and HRA for their incredible efforts. It has been uploaded onto the Australianssayno.com platform tomorrow for viewing, or view pdf in post above.

We understand it has been a bit of a process. Unfortunately the initial jot form went out without a section for the employers name, and just their email. This resulted in names being left off the list. This was rectified early with an updated link however we have been playing catch up ever since. As admins of this telegram support group we have had no access to the forms but done our best to update HRA with your requests.

HRA has reconciled the list against the invoices and we have also done our best to update them and search emails etc.

Thanks again for the fantastic support. HRA are currently working on a template for WA employers to send to the government. They will also be providing a letter for employees to use. Both of these will be uploaded to the platform when complete and we will advise. The plan is that copies of these documents will be forwarded to the list of employers also.

It is crucial the employers are educated around their liability. Examples of these letter templates for other states can be found here.
