Bishop, confessor, and Doctor of the church.
The holy Patriarch of Constantinople received his surname “Chrysostom” (meaning Golden-mouth) because he was known to be the most eloquent preacher and the most prolific writer of the Greek church. He was persecuted by the empress Eudoxia and her courtiers. He died in exile in 407.

Essential reading: These are not isolated incidents and part of a growing trend in the church, leaving parishioners feeling angry and isolated. Essentially the rejection of much of Vatican II by younger priests, this phenomenon has flown under the radar.…

“The Holy Mass is a prayer itself, even the highest prayer that exists. It is the sacrifice, dedicated by our Redeemer at the Cross, and repeated every day on the altar. If you wish to hear Mass as it should be heard, you must follow with eye, heart, and mouth, all that happens at the altar. Further, you must pray with the Priest, the holy words said by him in the Name of Christ and which Christ says by him. You have to associate your heart with the holy feelings which are contained in these words and in this manner you ought to follow all that happens in the altar. When and only when you have acted in this way, you have prayed the Holy Mass.“

This is the best article I’ve read all day.
The Novus Ordo is dying, faster than the globalists planned, and now they’re afraid.
Listen to the tone of dread and desperation in this article. Listen to the Whiney boomers complaining about Latin and incense and reverence (and their Bible study having to drop their Protestant-Catholic Bible).
I love it.

"Do not be ashamed to enter again into the Church. Be ashamed when you sin.
Do not be ashamed when you repent. Pay attention to what the devil did to you.
These are two things: sin and repentance. Sin is a wound, repentance is a medicine.
Just as there are for the body wounds and medicines, so for the soul are sins and repentance.
However, sin has the shame and repentance possesses the courage"
– Saint John Chrysostom

“All is not well with Ireland yet. You gave us the money, you gave us the guns. But let me tell you that every house in Ireland is a house of prayer, and when I bring these fanatical Irish before the muzzles of my guns, they hold up in their hands a string of beads, and they never surrender.”

Before you go to bed, spend at least 30 minutes reflecting on the Word of God.
Reflect on your day, see what you have accomplished, and strive to do better tomorrow.
Lest this be between you and God, so that your connection may strengthen and your wisdom blossom.

The one thing I’m lacking on is not reading Holy Scripture enough. Sure I mark it, and read parts and stuff when I’m watching people do Exegesis, but I haven’t sat down and actually read a few chapters for a while. Thanks for the reminder.

WE ARE NO DIFFERENT THAN THOSE OF NOAH'S GENERATION
But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Seek the Lord while He may be found.
