Busy days & beautiful nights, @token2049 Singapore was a whirlwind week as ever.

We met with partners, investors & friends both one-on-one & at many side events.

And in a first for us, held 3 meetings at 40 thousand feet on the flight home! ✈️

Our main reason for attending this year was to launch Edge Pioneers, our Intensive Minima Development Programme - huge thanks to our friends at @0xlabsHQ for helping make that happen.

Most pleasing was both how Minima continues to impress the developers and industry leaders we meet that the L1 is a truly decentralised protocol, running without specialised infrastructure, and by the number of potential projects that resulted from the multitude of conversations held over the course of the week across varied verticals and usecases.

Now the real work begins to develop as many as possible into value on chain 💪

Minima Moves From Code to Chip

🚀 A big leap forward for the Minima, University of Southampton & Arm Blockchain On Chip Project:

The team has nearly completed converting the entire Minima codebase from Java to C++, unlocking true native performance and portability.

This milestone brings Minima one step closer to running directly in hardware.

Why C++ matters:

C++ runs close to the metal - enabling lightweight, high-speed builds that can live inside embedded systems and future silicon.

It’s how Minima becomes small, fast, and ready for any device.
