Q3 is coming to a close, and Q4 is about to kick off. Before looking ahead, I wanted to look back at what has been achieved and give insight into challenges that we have faced in some areas.
We have always tried to be realistic with our road maps but sometimes plans and circumstances change and it is important to share the journey with you.
Now that we have a fully functioning base layer we are very conscious of the need to grow the ecosystem and help make Minima more convenient to use. I know this is a common theme in the community, Paddy alluded to this in his weekend post, and it is a priority for us.
The end goal for Minima is to be on chip - a completely decentralized value transfer layer for every connected device - the ultimate positioning for mainstream adoption and we are still very bullish about this. You will also see from our Q4 road map, that making Minima more accessible to existing web3 projects and users, is high on our agenda.

Wrapped Minima Snapshot:
We successfully completed the Wrapped Minima snapshot 27th August, marking the official point we moved to Native Minima only.
The process went to plan and resulted in the decoupling of WMINIMA from MINIMA.
To date c.87M (70%) WMINIMA has been repatriated back to native MINIMA. If you still have WMINIMA please visit https://native.minima.global to complete your swap.
Minima on Chip:
Following 6 months of due diligence we have just executed an agreement with a leading UK Academic Institution ( also a top ARM research centre) to design & build the world’s first demo prototype of a full blockchain node running on Chip.
The work has already been initiated and will bring forward our plans for a working demo by 12 months - So by Q1 2026 we will be running a demo day of the prototype to industry clients across defence, healthcare, robotics, and automotive industries.
A full press release with more details will be made public very soon once our partners PR approvals are in place.
DEX:
We have been working on plans for fully decentralised DEX, but we are now considering that a more centralised solution, that will deliver better UX and customer experience, is a more sensible approach for our first DEX.
I know that there is always a healthy debate in the community between the pure decentralisation ethos of Minima and the more centralised, but more user friendly approach, to solutions built on Minima. So we would like to get your view on which approach to tackle first. Later this week we will launch a poll to get your view on which approach you would prefer to see first.
CEX:
Despite many discussions with CEXs we have yet to find the right partner for another CEX.
The main challenge is that CEXs are really only interested in pre-TGE projects as they can make more money from the hype. In addition to this, while we now have 3 successful integrations up and running with a minimal amount of development work for the exchanges, the extra integration process is still an additional barrier.
Top Tier CEXs are demanding very high fees c. $350k- $500k+ currently and the lower Tier exchanges simply don’t offer enough genuine trading volume to warrant launching there.
We are in dialogue with a number of Top Tier exchanges that are looking to add credibility through projects with technical differentiation and strong road maps. We will be sharing our Q4 roadmap with them and will keep the community informed of progress.
Integritas:
Launched the beta of Minima’s first commercial product. Built in collaboration with Volvo engineers, Intergritas guarantees tamper-proof authenticity of data from any source.
Integritas Marketplace:
As part of our planning for the Integritas Marketplace we partnered with University College London (UCL) to conduct a 3 month research project into the feasibility of a standalone data marketplace.
Based on the data gathered it became clear that integrating into existing AI / data marketplaces would be a far more commercially viable approach. As a result we have pivoted towards building AI integrations.
We will be launching our first integration in Q4 with ASI with more to follow!
Omnia/Thunder:
The Thunder(pay) demo was released to the public 25th September. This is the first ever instance of a functioning Eltoo integration - the start of Minima’s L2 scaling solution for infinite transactions per second.
VITA - AI Agent on Minima:
Community Project - Launched August 5th, we are continuing to support this.
We successfully completed the Wrapped Minima snapshot 27th August, marking the official point we moved to Native Minima only.
The process went to plan and resulted in the decoupling of WMINIMA from MINIMA.

TOKEN2049 Singapore - Launch of Edge Pioneers:
Minima will be partnering with 0xLabs to launch Edge Pioneers, an accelerator program for Web3 Developers and Projects building on Minima. The application page will be opening shortly
UCL Hackathon:
Following on from the research carried out in Q3 we will be running a hackathon with under/ post graduate students at UCL. This will be in two streams, a data science stream focused on Integritas use cases and a pure blockchain stream. The hackathon is in concert with the UCL Blockchain Department & UCL Data Science Society.
Supported by industry partners (list to be finalised) we will see teams of students from across the University introduced to Minima, competing to produce presentations and work product against real-world problems and scenarios.
Dates confirmed for November, we are just waiting on full detail from UCL team and industry partners to launch the joined up marketing campaign.
Stable Coin:
Technical details for a stable coin solution are now going through regulatory checks ahead of launch. This is going to be a game changer for payments running over Minima, and will make the value proposition for the DEX even stronger as assets will be able to pegged against USDT (and Minima).
DEX:
Following the community poll, development work will commence
MiniMask:
A browser plug-in to connect websites directly to Minima (Mega MMR) hosted nodes. This is a game-changer for UX and onboarding new users.
