❗️🇮🇷/🇪🇬/🇮🇱 Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araqchi:

‘Egypt is considered a friend and important partner in the region, and its security constitutes an utmost priority for us.

We must all remain vigilant toward Israeli schemes and ‘false flag’ operations that aim to undermine regional peace.

The [Zionist] threat is clear, shared, and it fears Muslim solidarity.’

🇵🇸🇮🇱- Hamas has agreed with mediators that the group will disarm.

The political branch of Hamas has agreed to disarm, the military branch (Al-Qassam) will very likely object to it, either openly or in practice.

Also there still is no official statement by Hamas.

It’s also important that if Hamas does disarm, the weapons will likely be handed over to the new Palestinian administration, which will basically have a lot of former Hamas members in it.

🇮🇷/🇵🇸 NOTE: The report by Barak Ravid on Axios about the IRGC advising Hamas not to disarm in Gaza is completely made up

The piece is written in a way that makes it appear there is a drift between Iran and Hamas.

Yes, the IRGC may have advised something — but there is no such thing as ‘Hamas chose not to listen’. The group is independent, it does not take Iranian orders, and it takes its own political decisions.

Iran has always supported Hamas, will continue to do so, and supports any action it considers best for the Palestinian people, as the Foreign Ministry has repeatedly stated.

Launched from Yazd, central Iran, so probably headed for the Gulf regimes.

I suspect it was either a test launch or mass hallucination by Iraqi channels.

❗️🇮🇷/🇺🇸 NEW: The IRGC announces it targeted a convoy of tankers being escorted by the U.S. Navy through the Strait of Hormuz

Two of the violating tankers were struck, and four others turned around immediately. The convoy attempted to use the illegal route near Omani waters this morning.

The IRGC says Iran continues to exercise full authority over the Strait of Hormuz, and that no vessel may pass without permission from the Persian Gulf Strait Authority.

I wonder if Trump will do anything.

He said ‘one bridge or powerplant’ for every ship Iran strikes in the SoH.

My bet is, he won’t do shit.
