Allegedly, the ship was filled up with LPG in the Iranian port city of Asaluyeh on the 25th of September, and was headed to the Yemeni port of Ras Issa to supply the Houthis.

What exactly happened is still unclear, but the ship is currently on fire, with smoke seen rising. Previously, Israel has been known to use limpet mines to target Iranian-linked vessels in the Gulf of Aden.

At the time, the Pakistani Minister of Interior claimed that Israel was behind the attack (the ship's crew was Pakistani).

Although we know the ship went to Yemen, the destination of the 'Clipper' was officially declared as Djibouti, just like the declared destination of the 'MV Falcon' today, indicating that both ships are likely part of Iran's shadow fleet.
