—❗️🇮🇱/🇸🇾 BREAKING: According to Al-Mayadeen, Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharaa (formerly Abu Muhammad Al-Jolani) has accepted to give up the Golan Heights in exchange for normalization with Israel

Additionally, as part of the normalization agreement, buffer zones will be established in Southern Syria, including in Al-Quneitra, As-Suwayda, and Daraa.

Within these zones, all heavy weapons and equipment belonging to the HTS-led Syrian Army will be evacuated, and Syrian Army and Police units stationed in these regions will only be permitted to carry light weaponry.

These demands were conveyed by Israel during confidential meeting with Syria in the past few weeks. A Syrian businessman, acting on behalf of President Al-Sharaa, reportedly came to the Knesset today and conveyed Syria's acceptance.
