The talks will focus on how to implement the 'grain deal', which was agreed in 2022 in the Black Sea to provide a safe corridor for Ukraine to export food products.

Russia previously pulled out of the deal as they alleged Ukraine was transporting weapons into Odessa using commercial ships and have since sporadically attacked ships going to Odessa.

Yes, I dislike Erdogan. Many of us do. Yes, he can often be a hypocrite. However, Erdogan at the very least is overtly pro-Palestine, even if only in rhetoric, and he has openly praised Hamas. Additionally, he benefits the interests of the Muslims in Turkey.

The protests ongoing currently, which are anti-Erdogan and pro-Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu, are not a positive development, especially if you're a Resistance supporter.

In 2024, Imamoglu called Hamas a 'terrorist organization', and said the October 7th attack 'deeply saddened him'. Additionally, Imamoglu is part of the CHP party, Turkey's 'Republican People's Party', which is known to be Kemalist and highly secular in nature.

We need to be mature and realize that while Erdogan can be heavily criticized, his deposal may not be a positive thing at all, and could put an even worse political force in power.

I will stick by this, the Middle East has had far too many 'mindless revolutions'.

Simply overthrowing someone we don't like, without thinking about a viable future alternative, is an extremely stupid thing to do.
