Backing in Time :

The Quraysh's strength rested mainly on two pillars:

1. Commercial Power 💼🚚💸
They controlled Mecca’s trade routes and caravans, which were crucial for their wealth and influence. The early Muslims strategically blocked the trade routes to disrupt the Quraysh’s economic lifeline and weaken their power.

2. Custodianship of the Kaaba 🕋🌟🙏
The Quraysh were the guardians of the House of Allah (Kaaba), giving them religious authority and prestige.

This control was central to their political and social influence.

Later, during the Treaty of Hudaybiyah, this pillar became a key point of negotiation regarding pilgrimage rights.

Quranic Verse Related to Economic Justice and Struggle Against Oppression ⚔️📖

"And fight them until there is no [more] fitnah and [until] worship is [acknowledged to be] for Allah."
Surah Al-Anfal (8:39)

This verse highlights the importance of striving against oppression and establishing the freedom to worship Allah alone, which was closely tied to challenging the Quraysh’s control over trade and religious authority.

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:

"The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, while there is good in both."

This Hadith emphasizes the importance of strength and strategic action in the cause of Islam, which reflects the early Muslim approach of targeting the Quraysh’s economic and religious pillars to bring about lasting change.

By first blocking the trade routes 🍀 (the economic pillar) and later addressing the control of the Kaaba (the religious pillar), the Muslims strategically weakened the Quraysh’s grip on Mecca, paving the way for the eventual peaceful conquest and establishment of true Islamic authority.

﴿يَوْمَ تَشْهَدُ عَلَيْهِمْ أَلْسِنَتُهُمْ 👄 وَأَيْدِيهِمْ 🤲 وَأَرْجُلُهُمْ 🦶 بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ﴾
(سورة النور، الآية 24)

This noble verse describes a profound reality of the Day of Judgment, a day of ultimate justice and truth, as revealed by Allah سبحانه وتعالى:

ألسنتهم 👄 (their tongues) will bear witness to the words they uttered, whether righteous or sinful.

أيديهم 🤲 (their hands) will testify to the deeds they performed, whether good or evil.

أرجلهم 🦶 (their feet) will testify to the paths they followed and the actions they undertook.

This verse beautifully illustrates the comprehensive and perfect justice of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, who records all deeds and will bring them forth as clear evidence.

We should always be mindful of our speech, actions, and intentions, for they are all recorded and will be presented before our Lord.
