Looking around your surrounding and it isn't hard to find out that we don't really see a lot of purple in the natural world. Anyway, you can see a field of lavender which is filled with purple in certain places that have a cooler temperature.

Icy Blue & Dark Sky
We often use blue to represent cold in graphics, labels, you name it. If we look up a mountain covered in snow, sometimes a fainted blue color could be see from our naked eyes.

Material You Blue & new update for Desktop themes
Long time no see, and it's already 2023, so happy new year to everyone. I have been busy working with real life stuff so apologize for all the delays being made. To be honest, I never expect 100 of you guys joined just for the themes I made, but anyway thanks for the support.
New year, new theme
2023 is here and with post coming up on this channel, yes, new themes, this time coming in Icy Blue & Dark Sky. Experience the world of blue with the nature.
Better Desktop experience
Telegram recently also made some changes which affected the old theme files for Desktop in minor ways, so as promised, we have also updated to reflect the latest version support. Dark theme got significant changes which makes it better than ever.
We have already updated Natural Green & Dark Forest, rest of the themes will get it soon enough, check back later in a week time (Tip: Check the post under the pinned message to get an idea whether the themes are updated or not.)
Follow-up update for Android
Android themes might probably need some updates too but the theme editor seems to be missing some new elements at the time of posting, anyway I will try to update them if I have the time to do so.

We have been working extremely hard to solve all the issues in our existing theme, and it is available for all platforms. Update is directly available for macOS while Android and Desktop users had to download it from the channel for the latest version.
Blue Arrival
Besides fixes, we also managed to bring the Icy Blue & Dark Sky theme to the desktop, now you can experience it on both Desktop & macOS clients.
Refinement for Android & macOS
Both Android and macOS should have reached stability parity which don't really need any further updates unless Telegram decided to release a major update which will affect the whole experience. If any change is made, you will be notified on this channel as usual.

They should look good while at the same time keeping the same experience as the default theme, though we had to re-engineer the dark theme slightly.

• Android: Improved coloring of ripple effect
• Android: Minor fixes & improvements
• Desktop: Rebased on latest Telegram Desktop palette, with major changes & improvements
• macOS: Added accent color for waveform (voice message that you send out, in bubble mode)
• macOS: Improved visibility of link & monospace text while highlighting/selecting
• macOS: Minor fixes & improvements

Red is considered as auspiciousness in the Chinese cultures as they believe it can exorcise bad spirits. Items that are commonly visible in the festival like angpau, firecrackers, spring couplets, it's not hard to notice they are mostly red too.
