AMM in XRPL, how does it work?
Many users do not understand how AMM works, in this article we tried to explain the main functions of AMM in the simplest possible language.
An AMM pool is a set of two assets available for trading at a price formed by the pool. Liquidity is provided by the users themselves, earning a commission for each transaction affecting assets in the AMM pool.
Unlike the familiar DEX, there are no limit orders.
By adding liquidity, you do not choose at what price your tokens will be sold or purchased. The price in the AMM pool is formed by dividing the amount of frist asset in the pool by second asset. XRPL works in such a way that transactions on DEX and AMM are interconnected and when making a trade, the blockchain looks for the most profitable path for purchase (part of the order can be executed through DEX, and part through AMM, so that the average purchase price is the lowest).
