Msi laptop monitor internal not detected
So I posted a while back about this but still no fix.
Have an msi laptop connected to 2 external monitors.
One via HDMI
Other via USB C
All 3 screens working perfectly until a few weeks ago when I was updating nvidia driver. After this the screen is black.
Now when I boot up my laptop screen msi logo shows on the 2nd monitor & laptop screen totally black.
Tried uninstalling reinstalling drivers in safe mode.
Updated BIOS with usb
Power Ec reset
Not found anywhere in device manager or display settings.
Have it set up as extend on windows P
Everyone said it could be loose cable but my laptop does not move from the stand?
Any possible fixes?
If i factory reset laptop will it work?
Reallt dont want to take it and pay heaps for a pro to fix it.
Essentially its a bang average desktop right now.

My keyboard is non-responsive sometime
My ASWD keys are sometimes non-responsive. I try to fix it by reloading Windows, restarting the laptop, etc. Those methods work, but only for a day or two, and then back to normal. Those keys only become non-responsive when I'm gaming, so I don't know if someone has placed a curse to make my gaming experience as painful as possible.

Nightmare & Woeful Experience With MSI Vector Gaming Laptop
Hi everyone,
A couple of months ago, I bought an MSI Vector A16 HX (Ryzen 9 8940HX + RTX 5070) for college. I'm a computer science/engineering student.
Unfortunately, it's been a nightmare experience, and I will almost never buy MSI again.
The main issue is that the CPU will randomly throttle down to around 0.55 GHz, making the laptop almost unusable.
I've tried just about every software fix I could find, including:
EC reset
BIOS update
Updating all drivers
Changing Windows power plans
Windows factory reset / clean installation
.
The laptop has also been through multiple RMAs:
First RMA: MSI replaced the motherboard and performed a clean OS installation. The exact same problem returned.
Second RMA: They replaced the entire laptop with a refurbished unit. The issue still exists, though it occurs less frequently.
At this point, I've spent more time shipping this laptop back and waiting for repairs than actually using it.
The seller and MSI have both refused a full refund because it's outside their return window, but it's incredibly frustrating to own a \~$2,000 laptop that I can't rely on for school.
Right now, it honestly feels like I have an expensive 5070 attached to an e-waste computer.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Msi katana A15 hibernation freezing
I brought msi katana A15 (ryzen 7 8845hs + rtx 4050) just 10 days ago and I am facing a problem , after playing (or just opening ) games like fortnight, pubg battleground every time after clearing the minimised windows if I immediately try to hibernate the laptop pressing power button then it freezes , the screen turns off , but the white light of power button does not go off , the laptop gets hot and the battery charge decreases .
Please 🙏🙏🙏 check this on your laptop and tell me what happens for you .
And do another test keep your fortnight game character on lobby and then try to hibernate your laptop.
Please please tell me what happens for your gaming laptop I am very worried with this problem .

latest firm update makes my pc shut down slowly
until now, before e15m715, when i hit "restart" it would take 5 seconds to close everything, restart and system boot in few seconds. now it has 1 minute of idle black screen in the middle. so after it closes everything it enter a state where it still on and the fan works, just black for no aperent reason. and than it start. thats really annoying... i also updated windows so maybe ist windows stuff? could it be because it checks some memory diagnostic stuff like some amd 7k proccesors used to do? can i deal with it in the bios? i have a good bios experience as i tweak the volts and core clocks (very underclocks and disable 8 of the 12 e-cores).
i have msi ge68hx 14gen inter with nvidia 4080, 32 ram and 5600 memory speed

Secure Booth Disabled, Can't Enable
I have an MSI Pulse 15 B13V.
I installed a driver called Micro-Star International Firmware version 1.0.1.4 (MSI Firmware 1.0.1.4) then after that, I couldn't access my laptop without having Secure Boot Disabled.
But Valorant requires Secure Booth Enabled.
Tried Enabling it, but then I get stuck with an instruction to turn off my Secure Boot.
Trying all that Gemini's telling me to do to solve this, but so far, nothing's working.
Please help, I really want to play Valorant :((

Best thermal paste for MSI Katana laptops?
Hi
I have just ordered a thermal paste of amazon Arctic MX-6. Is that a good thermal paste for msi katana gaming laptops? I heard negative review from noctua nt h1 that it dries out and pumps out really quickly so i didnt bother with that. Or is there some other thermal paste that are better that you can recomend?

Are these temps something to worry about?
Hi
For a month ago i went to a repair shop to ask them to reapply my thermal paste.
I got an msi katana b13vgk laptop with a rtx 4070 gpu and i7 i13620h cpu. I heard these cpus are common to reach 90 + c. I opened up the laptop to see if the thermal paste has been pumped out and it had. I just worry about these temps. Are they something to worry about? Because the games i play doesnt crash with this temp and the temp on the cpu goes up an down.

MSI GF63 THIN won't boot after upgrading ram
I ran into an issue today where I tried to upgrade the RAM in my MSI GF63 THIN. I currently have 8gb before the upgrade and I wanted 16gb so I bought a 8gb Samsung 3200 stick of ram. I followed a video to upgrade and after completing it I screwed it all back in and it wouldn't turn on.
Here's my list of actions for better understanding of what I did:
\- I unscrewed the back and popped it off revealing the motherboard
\- I slotted in my new ram stick and it went in just fine
\- I closed it back up without unplugging or anything
\- then it wouldn't turn on
One thing to note: I did NOT unplug the battery connector on the motherboard, I didn't do this because it simply wouldn't come out. I tried for 30 minutes of wiggling, pressure on different sides, everything I tried. It wouldn't come out so I ensured the laptop was fully OFF then proceeded.
Could the battery not being unplugged have something to do with it? Or does it have to do with the EC reset I was seeing everywhere?

TPM2.0 not detected? Already enabled secure boot and fTPM in bios
As my post says, I am trying to upgrade my computer to windows 11 but it still says TPM 2.0 is not enabled. I already went into the bios to enable secure boot and also to enable fTPM, but it is still not working. Any suggestions?

Charging Help!
I need some help here, my wife has a Msi crosshair we got less than a year ago from Costco. The other day she noticed her laptop not charging we found The charging cord got damaged and went onto Amazon and bought a new one using the same model as the original charger. The original was 20v 120w output new is the same. When she plugs in the new charger for a spit second it charges then stops. We tried to reset the battery using pin hole show on MSI documents and when that didn’t work she help the power button down also shown as trouble shooting and last uninstalled the battery driver which windows will install upon next boot which it did the charger is still not working though. On a USB C thunderbolt charger for my MAC air it does charge.
I am confused what else can we do? short of taking it somewhere!

msi stealth gs73, cpu reaching 98°C gaming
i’m not the most knowledgeable about computers and trying my best here. i got this laptop from my ex a year or two ago as he got a new one. semi recently i turned on the steam setting that shows your cpu temp, and while playing overwatch i notice it getting up to ~98°C and fluctuating from around 75-98 while jumping around pretty rapidly during games. is this normal? am i doing something wrong?
i have replaced all of the fans entirely because a few months ago i think a bearing broke and it was making awful noises, and i have now also replaced the thermal paste with grizzly kryonaut. i thought it was helping but within a couple weeks i notice it hitting 98 again.
Model: MSI Stealth GS73
Processor: Intel Core i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80 GHz
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (6gb), Intel HD Graphics 630 (128mb)
let me know if other info is needed. not super tech savvy so wasn’t sure what i needed to include. thanks!
ETA: sorry for formatting! i’m on mobile and it’s finicky
