FBI to Form New Digital Currency Unit as Justice Dept Taps New Crypto Czar

The U.S. Justice Department has tapped a seasoned computer crimes prosecutor to lead its new national cryptocurrency enforcement team and announced on Thursday that the FBI is launching a unit for blockchain analysis and virtual asset seizure, Devdiscourse reported.

The creation of the "virtual asset exploitation" unit at the FBI comes on the heels of Canada’s announcement that they will expand their “anti-terrorism funding” unit to include crypto, Ice Age Farmer pointed out.

Tucker Carlson weighed in on the new crypto crimes patrol during his Friday show:

“The White House is currently preparing to release an executive order on crypto currency… The plan is for the federal government to ‘come up with a government-wide strategy to regulate digital assets.’ The FBI, meanwhile, has just formed a new unit ‘focused on digital asset seizure and blockchain-based law-breaking.’

Now what does that mean? Well we’re learning from Canada. Blockchain-based lawbreaking means that you donated money to a cause the government doesn’t like… So what does does this mean for our financial system? … Once the government announces they can zero out people’s bank balances if they don’t like their Twitter feeds, people tend not to trust banks. You could could get banks runs.”

Biden’s Department of Homeland Security Announces It Will Investigate Thought Crimes | The Federalist

The Biden administration has been steadily ratcheting up its abuse of power to attack political enemies and criminalize dissent. The egregious overcharging and heinous treatment of January 6 detainees in the DC gulag is one painful example. But it’s making even more dangerous moves toward creating Thought Police. And they are bold enough to announce it publicly.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security released a National Terrorism Advisory Bulletin on Feb. 7, 2022 that outlined their Thought Crime agenda. It states, “The United States remains in a heightened threat environment fueled by several factors, including an online environment filled with false or misleading narratives and conspiracy theories, and other forms of mis- dis- and mal-information (MDM).”

“The primary terrorism-related threat to the United States continues to stem from lone offenders or small cells of individuals who are motivated by a range of foreign and/or domestic grievances often cultivated through the consumption of certain online content,” the document states.

They make their goal of speech control perfectly clear by specifying “the consumption of certain online content.” What is stunning is their unashamed belief that policing this falls withing their purview. It seems to call for an agency focused on ensuring that only online content the government feels is legitimate is allowed — a Ministry of Truth, if you will.

The agency gets even more specific: “There is widespread online proliferation of false or misleading narratives regarding unsubstantiated widespread election fraud and COVID-19. Grievances associated with these themes inspired violent extremist attacks during 2021.”

“A republic, if you can keep it” was Benjamin Franklin’s worry. This is exactly what he meant.

Bitcoin Companies' Response to Canada's Request to Freeze Protester Accounts Is Pure Gold | Red State

While financial institutions like TD Bank crumbled like a cheap suit, crypto companies gave some great responses to the Canadian government’s request for compliance with the new Castro Emergencies Act financial repression orders.

Bitcoin wallet company Nunchuk announced that they’d gotten a request to freeze accounts from the government, “Yesterday, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice sent us a Mareva Injunction, ordering us to freeze and disclose information about the assets involved in the #FreedomConvoy2022 movement.”

Nunchuk explained that they don’t hold any money like a custodial financial institution, they don’t collect user information apart from emails, and they don’t hold the keys to any of the wallets — that it’s all private to the user, by design.

“Please look up how self custody and private keys work,” the company chided the government. “When the Canadian dollar becomes worthless, we will be here to serve you too.” Now, that’s gold.

Edge wallet offered an equally satisfying response to the fascistic request from the government:

“In the wake of ongoing turmoil taking place in the Canadian capital of Ottawa, Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland has requested, via the Emergencies Act, that various financial services companies freeze accounts of those linked to protesters occupying the region, as well as those providing funding to the protests, but not present physically.

Regardless of whether the protests resonate with individuals or not, financial seizure is an unprecedented action that must be taken seriously. It’s with great consideration that we would like to share our official response to the request that Canadian users’ Edge accounts be frozen: ‘NO’

And most importantly, we can’t, even if we wanted to.”

Gab announced in a recent blog post that the company is furthering its efforts to create a parallel economy to offer people a choice to engage with tech companies that share their values. Gab is putting its money where its mouth is in response to the argument that if conservatives don’t like the censorship and snooping of the overwhelmingly leftist Big Tech companies, they should build an alternative.

The Big Short: Former Blackrock Fund Manager’s Big Pharma Vaccine Fraud Thesis in a Nutshell | KLIM

If you missed the January podcast, “Are Pfizer and Moderna the Next Enron?,”
former Blackrock fund manager Edward Dowd succinctly summarizes the reasoning behind his ‘big short’ Big Pharma investment case and adds some fascinating updates in this February 15th KLIM interview.

Dowd explains his initial hesitancy to take the Covid vaccine and the mushrooming “tells” that underpin his vax fraud thesis:

1) Long-term safety data on vaccines takes 7 - 10 years — you can’t “warp speed” safety information.

2) Pfizer failed the all-cause mortality endpoint in its clinical trial: more people died in the vaccinated group than in the placebo group. Typically, drugs don’t get approved if they fail that critical hurdle, it’s the “gold standard” in drug approval.

3) The FDA aggressively lobbied to hide the information it relied upon to license Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine,
asking a federal judge make the public wait until the year 2096, a total of 75 years, for the full set of data.

4) The widely respected British Medical Journal reported damning revelations from whistleblower Brook Jackson, who described how Pfizer ‘falsified data’ and manipulated its Covid vaccine clinical trials. For example, Jackson noted that the participants in her cohort had been unblinded after just 2 months. Unblinding is a clinical trial deal-breaker because knowing whether a person was vaccinated could influence the decision to test for Covid and report side effects. The supposed 95% vaccine efficacy was based on the fact that only 8 people in the vaccinated group got Covid versus 162 in the placebo group, a difference of just 154 (potentially untested unblinded) people.

5) In its Q4 earnings release, Pfizer quietly added new warning language, “risks associated with... further information regarding the quality of pre-clinical, clinical or safety data, including by audit or inspection,” and highlighted "concerns about clinical data integrity..."

6) Six more life insurers have joined OneAmerica in reporting unheard of spikes in death claims among young working age individuals. In the second half of 2021 versus pre-pandemic 2019, deaths increased:

• +36% Q4 Unum
• +57% Q4 Lincoln National
• +41% Q4 Prudential
• +21% Q4 RGA
• +32% Q4 Harford
• +268% Q3 Aegon, +56% Q4

7) Life insurers have started “reinsuring” their high face value individual policies at bargain prices. Dowd notes that while the economics look bad now, passing the death benefits hot potato to a reinsurance group may be a “genius” move in the long run. Aegon, for example, is predicting 300K excess US deaths in 2022, in part due to “indirect Covid” (translation: the jab).

Whistleblower Sues Pfizer for $2 Billion Over Falsified Data Submitted to Obtain FDA Authorization for COVID-19 'Vaccines'

“Pfizergate” whistleblower Brook Jackson filed a False Claims Act suit against Pfizer and two subcontractors who were involved in the Covid-19 vaccine clinical trial. The case has been under seal for over a year, but is now public after the U.S. Department of Justice declined to intervene on behalf of Jackson.

Government lawyers did not explain the choice not to intervene and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which investigates alleged clinical trial fraud, did not respond to a request for comment by the The Epoch Times

The choice, though, has not deterred the whistleblower.

“We’re going to pursue the case without the help of the government,” Jackson told The Epoch Times.

She said she wasn’t surprised but felt “total disappointment” when, after over a year of putting off a decision, the government declined to intervene.

The odds of success aren’t good but “it’s just a chance I have to take,” Jackson said. “I just feel like somebody has to be held accountable.”

Jackson set off a firestorm when the British Medical Journal in November 2021 published a piece, based on documents, recordings, and other materials from Jackson, that outlined repeated failures by Ventavia to properly run sites for Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine trial before it received emergency clearance from U.S. drug regulators.

The case is filed in U.S. District Court in the Eastern District of Texas by lead attorney/ hero Robert Barnes on behalf of Jackson, The Washington Pundit reported.

‘You Can’t Handle the Truth!’: CDC Is Sandbagging Contradictory COVID Data Because They Are Afraid It Might Make the Vaccines Look ‘Ineffective’ | Red State

The New York Times is reporting on Monday that the lack of information provided to the public about the COVID-19 pandemic is not the result of a lack of data but of a conscious decision by the “public health” weenies managing our national response to sandbag information that contradicts the approved narrative. Given the Branch Covidian syle of fearmongering about the pandemic that has emanated from the New York Times over the past two years, the article is shocking both in substance and in tone:

“Two full years into the pandemic, the agency leading the country’s response to the public health emergency has published only a tiny fraction of the data it has collected, several people familiar with the data said…

[One if the reasons given] is fear that the information might be misinterpreted, [Kristen Nordlund, a spokeswoman for the C.D.C.] said.”

Throughout this “pandemic,” information has been used as a weapon to prevent any effective critique of the bizarre actions imposed upon us by those claiming to have some unique knowledge about keeping us safe.

“But the C.D.C. has been routinely collecting information since the Covid vaccines were first rolled out last year, according to a federal official familiar with the effort. The agency has been reluctant to make those figures public, the official said, because they might be misinterpreted as the vaccines being ineffective,” the New York Times article continued.

In short, as Jack Nicholson said in ‘A Few Good Men’: “You can’t handle the truth.”

Pfizer Suffers Black Eye as Drug Regulators in India and China Bar 2.8 Billion People from Company's COVID Vaccine

Drug-maker Pfizer has backed away from efforts to secure emergency-use authorization in India for its COVID-19 vaccine.

India’s Central Drugs Standard Control Organization said its experts did not support the vaccine because there are still investigations taking place into side effects that have been reported in other countries.

Indian officials had demanded Pfizer conduct a safety and efficacy study in India, according to Reuters.

“The firm presented its proposal for emergency use authorization of Covid-19 mRNA Vaccine BNT162b before the committee. The committee noted that incidents of palsy, anaphylaxis and other SAEs (serious adverse events) have been reported during post-marketing and the causality of the events with the vaccine is being investigated,” India’s ThePrint reported, citing minutes of the Feb. 3 meeting of the group’s experts.

The vaccines by Pfizer and Moderna have also been linked to an increased risk of myocarditis.

China has never approved the vaccine for use there, either, according to Bloomberg. That means that the potential market of China’s 1.45 billion people and India’s 1.4 billion people appears to be beyond Pfizer’s reach.

Great Reset in Action: World Economic Forum's Communist 'Digital Identity' Scheme | RAIR Foundation

In February 2022, Klaus Schwab’s World Economic Forum (WEF) released a new report, “Advancing Digital Agency: The Power of Data Intermediaries,” which outlines their plans for the creation of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, a fusion of the “physical, digital and biological world.”

The unelected WEF globalists have capitalized on Covid and are using the “vaccine passports” to lay the foundation for widespread digital identity adoption. This is just one part of the “Great Reset” in action.

Digital Indentities

The report states that the “COVID 19 pandemic has led to a heightened focus on the power of medical data, specifically so-called vaccine passports. These passports, by nature, serve as a form of digital identity.”

Such a digital identity can be used, among other things, to access your health insurance treatments, monitor health devices and your phones, open a bank account and carry out financial transactions.

With your digital pass, you can book trips and go through customs with it. You will also be able to use such a digital ID for shopping, social media, voting, filing tax returns, and collecting benefits.

Alternative Credit Scoring

The WEF’s digital identity scheme is now clearing a path for a global social credit system that will give them the power to control citizens and punish those they deem “untrustworthy.”

The WEF report says that third parties will make judgments based on your credit history, medical history, and online behaviors. For example, “A bank decides the attractiveness of an individual for a loan.”

Banks will take an individual’s social behavior, both online and offline, into account in the crediting process; this is called Alternative Credit Scoring (ACS), which leverages big data to analyze not just financial histories but social behaviors. ACS was added to the WEF agenda during its January 25-29 virtual meeting. Unfortunately, this type of system risks introducing a social credit system like that of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), where access to goods and services is based on a person’s political beliefs and social behavior.

Constant Surveillance

The WEF future includes constant surveillance of human beings and their surroundings through the Internet of Bodies (IoB) ecosystem. This ecosystem connects human beings with technology through devices allowing the forum to obtain massive amounts of data on an individual.

RAND warns the IoB could “increase global geopolitical risks because surveillance states can use IoB data to enforce authoritarian regimes.” As the WEF Global Risks Report admitted in 2019 (p. 70), “authoritarianism is easier in a world of total visibility and traceability.”

A Social Credit System Arrives in Canada, Next Stop the U.S.? | David Sacks

Last summer, I warned readers of Common Sense that financial deplatforming would be the next wave of online censorship. Big Tech companies like PayPal were already working with left-wing groups like the ADL and SPLC to define lists of individuals and groups who should be denied service. As more and more similarly minded tech companies followed suit (as happened with social media censorship), these deplorables would be deplatformed, debanked, and eventually denied access to the modern economy altogether, as punishment for their “unacceptable” views. 

That prediction has become reality.
What I could not have anticipated is that it would occur first in our mild-mannered neighbor to the north, with the Canadian government itself directing the reprisals.

How do we stop this dystopian policy from taking root here in the United States? Some of my friends in the tech world say that decentralized blockchain and cryptocurrency offer an answer—and that might be true for pseudonymous computer programmers who can do gig work from anywhere in the world. But it won’t help truck drivers who operate in the real world under the supervision of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

The real answer lies in politics and the law. Policy makers need to build safeguards into our laws that protect citizens’ financial rights against some future emergency that would be used as the excuse to take them away. Just as University of Chicago professor Richard Epstein proposed that the largest social media companies should be treated as common carriers to prohibit them from restricting speech, we may need to prohibit the largest financial institutions from denying citizens access to the financial system because they dislike their politics. In order to prevent discrimination on the basis of creed, political beliefs may need to become a protected class.

We must also stop the definition creep around “terrorism,” a term whose use has become so elastic that it now even includes angry moms fighting school boards. Just this month, the Department of Homeland Security made a little-noticed change in its definition of domestic terrorism, citing “widespread online proliferation of false or misleading narratives regarding unsubstantiated widespread election fraud and COVID-19” as a key driver of what it deemed a heightened domestic terror threat environment. As we have seen for over 20 years, “terrorism” is the magic word by which any curtailment of rights and expansion of government power can be justified.
