Respected Medical Journal Fights Back Against Fake News ‘Fact Checkers’ in Open Letter to Mark Zuckerberg | The BMJ Open Letter
Dear Mark Zuckerberg,
We are Fiona Godlee and Kamran Abbasi, editors of The BMJ, one of the world’s oldest and most influential general medical journals. We are writing to raise serious concerns about the “fact checking” being undertaken by third party providers on behalf of Facebook/Meta.
In September, a former employee of Ventavia, a contract research company helping carry out the main Pfizer covid-19 vaccine trial, began providing The BMJ with dozens of internal company documents, photos, audio recordings, and emails. These materials revealed a host of poor clinical trial research practices occurring at Ventavia that could impact data integrity and patient safety. We also discovered that, despite receiving a direct complaint about these problems over a year ago, the FDA did not inspect Ventavia’s trial sites…
From November 10, readers began reporting a variety of problems when trying to share our article… [Users] reported having their posts flagged with a warning about “Missing context ... Independent fact-checkers say this information could mislead people.” Those trying to post the article were informed by Facebook that people who repeatedly share “false information” might have their posts moved lower in Facebook’s News Feed…
Readers were directed to a “fact check” performed by a Facebook contractor named Lead Stories.
We find the “fact check” performed by Lead Stories to be inaccurate, incompetent and irresponsible.
• It fails to provide any assertions of fact that The BMJ article got wrong
• It has a nonsensical title: “Fact Check: The British Medical Journal Did NOT Reveal Disqualifying And Ignored Reports Of Flaws In Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine Trials”
• The first paragraph inaccurately labels The BMJ a “news blog”
• It contains a screenshot of our article with a stamp over it stating “Flaws Reviewed,” despite the Lead Stories article not identifying anything false or untrue in The BMJ article
• It published the story on its website under a URL that contains the phrase “hoax-alert”…
We are aware that The BMJ is not the only high quality information provider to have been affected by the incompetence of Meta’s fact checking regime…

A federal appeals court Friday reinstated Biden regime rules that require many employers to ensure that their workers are vaccinated or tested weekly for Covid-19.
A divided panel of the Sixth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals dissolved a stay issued by another court that had blocked the rules. The majority, in a 2-to-1 ruling, said legal challenges to the administration’s vaccination-and-testing requirements were likely to fail.
In the decision, the 6th Circuit noted that OSHA has historical precedent for using wide discretion to ensure worker safety and “demonstrated the pervasive danger that COVID-19 poses to workers—unvaccinated workers in particular—in their workplaces.”

27 States and Dozens of Businesses File Appeal with SCOTUS to Block Unconstitutional OSHA Mandate | WBTW News
South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson and his counterparts from 26 other states filed an appeal with the U.S. Supreme Court Saturday morning in an effort to block the Biden administration’s OSHA vaccine mandate.
The filing, announced by Wilson’s office Saturday morning, comes after a panel of the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, in a split 2-1 decision, lifted a stay against the mandate Friday evening. Lifting that stay would allow the Occupational Safety and Health Administration to require people who work at companies with 100 or more employees to get vaccinated.
“The fight against the Biden mandate continues, even to filing for a stay in the early hours of this morning,” Wilson said. “The rule of law will prevail and the President’s grasp for power halted.”
A long list of companies and other organizations joined in the appeal, which was filed just before 1 AM Saturday, Wilson’s office said in a news release.
“This case does not present the question whether vaccines or vaccine mandates are wise or desirable,” the filing says. “Instead, it presents the narrow questions whether OSHA had authority to issue the Mandate, and whether it lawfully exercised whatever authority it had. After all, ‘our system does not permit agencies to act unlawfully,’ even during a pandemic and ‘even in pursuit of desirable ends.’”

‘Powerful’ Dissenting Opinion by 6th Circuit Judge Likely to ‘Doom OSHA ETS’ According to National Law Review
Although the OSHA vax mandate stay was lifted in a 2-1 decision by a panel of just three 6th Circuit judges, Judge CJ Sutton wrote a muscular dissenting opinion. The National Law Review summarizes:
“Judge Sutton argues that the clear-statement rule dooms OSHA’s ETS. Under that rule, Congress must clearly delegate to OSHA the authority to issue an ETS. He concludes that Congress did not clearly delegate that authority to OSHA in its enabling statue (the Occupational Safety and Health Act) or anywhere else.
Judge Sutton also points to OSHA’s failure to explain why the ETS was ‘indispensable’ or ‘essential,’ which he reasons is necessary for an emergency-rulemaking exception. He also writes that any such explaining would likely fail considering all the other ‘less intrusive, more tailored’ approaches the agency could have taken. Nor, in Judge Sutton’s view, was the ETS directed toward a true ‘emergency,’ as neither masking nor vaccination requirements are entirely new options available to the government.”
What’s interesting is that Judge Sutton delivered his anti-mandate opinion despite his strong, pro-Covid-vaccine stance: “The record also shows the utility of vaccinations. The medical studies to date show that vaccinated individuals face fewer risks of getting the virus and, for those who still suffer breakthrough infections, fewer risks of serious symptoms or death... But the issue here is not that simple. No matter the policy benefits of a well-intended regulation, a court may not enforce it if the agency’s reach exceeds a statute’s grasp.”
The National Law Review concludes, “Agree or disagree with his analysis, Judge Sutton’s thoughtful en banc dissent has emerged as the perhaps the most powerful (and the most narrow) judicial opinion against OSHA’s ETS.”
Law Professor Jonathan Adler agrees. In a Friday evening thread on Twitter, he commented, “Whether SCOTUS focuses on OSHA's specific statutory authority, or major questions doctrine, I suspect a majority will ultimately follow CJ Sutton's lead and stay the OSHA ETS, which can only last 6 months anyway.”

TX is stepping up to do the federal government’s job,” Gov. Abbott tweeted.

New York Legislation Provides for Indefinite Detention of Unvaccinated at Governor’s Whim | National Pulse
In the next legislative session beginning January 5th, 2022, the New York Senate and Assembly could vote on a bill that would grant permissions to remove and detain cases, contacts, carriers, or anyone suspected of presenting a “significant threat to public health” and remove them from public life on an indefinite basis.
Bill A416 gives the Governor of New York, his or her delegates – including but not limited to the commissioner and heads of local health departments – the right to remove and detain any individuals or groups of people by issuing a single order. The orders only have to include the individual’s name(s) or “reasonably specific descriptions of the individuals or groups.”
It goes on to state that the bill will “require an individual who has been exposed to or infected by a contagious disease to complete an appropriate, prescribed course of treatment, preventive medication or vaccination,” essentially giving the government the right to detain anyone they want and forcibly vaccinate them.
As the language of the bill refers to individuals or groups who are “potentially dangerous,” A416 is a preemptive strike against anyone the department believes has the capacity to “pose a threat” in the future, such as those refusing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination.
The bill has received an overwhelmingly negative response on the NY Senate website. Commenters have stated that, “…This is un-American. It [is] reminiscent of the Soviet Union locking up political opponents on the basis that they were ‘mentally unstable’…”

In news that will surprise precisely no one who has been alive the last two years, Danish Covid data paints a picture entirely different than what the media claims.
Omicron - which continues to appear significantly less dangerous though more transmissible than earlier variants of Covid - has been used as a cover for vaccine failure.
Most new Covid cases in Denmark occur in people who are vaccinated - and that is true for both Omicron and earlier variants. More than 73 percent of non-Omicron Covid infections in Denmark are in the double and triple jabbed, along with nearly 90 percent of Omicron infections.

Columbia University Study: True U.S. COVID Vaccine Death Count Is 400,000 | WND
The CDC's latest count of deaths attributed to COVID-19 vaccines is approximately 20,000, but a study by researchers at Columbia University estimates the actual number is 20 times higher.
The Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System, or VAERS, reports 20,244 deaths, 106,129 hospitalizations and a total of 965,841 adverse events due to COVID-19 vaccines through Dec. 10.
If the Columbia study's underreporting factor is correct, it would mean that there are nearly 400,000 deaths due to COVID-19 vaccines.
In the study's abstract, the researchers note that "accurate estimates of COVID vaccine-induced severe adverse event and death rates are critical for risk-benefit ratio analyses of vaccination and boosters against SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus in different age groups."
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services points out that a VAERS report is not documentation that a link has been established between a vaccine and an adverse event. However, HHS also notes that VAERS is a "passive" system of reporting, and it "receives reports for only a small fraction of actual adverse events." Many health care workers have disclosed they are instructed by their superiors not to report to VAERS any harm caused by COVID vaccines.
The Columbia researchers found that more than six weeks after injection, vaccination had a negative correlation with mortality. But within five weeks of injection, vaccination predicted all-cause mortality in nearly every age group, with an "age-related temporal pattern consistent with the U.S. vaccine rollout."
Comparing the study's estimated vaccine fatality rate with the CDC-reported rate, the researchers concluded VAERS deaths are underreported by a factor of 20, which is "consistent with known VAERS under-ascertainment bias."
The researchers said the study "suggests the risks of COVID vaccines and boosters outweigh the benefits in children, young adults, and older adults with low occupational risk or previous coronavirus exposure."
They emphasize "the urgent need to identify, develop and disseminate diagnostics and treatments for life-altering vaccine injuries."

Former NYPD computer forensics detective and Chairperson of the LPNC, Joe Garcia, will be conducting “an independent security review and source code examination of electronic voting systems used in NC elections as well review the State’s evaluation reports of electronic voting systems currently under consideration for certification in NC… ES&S has systems in use in 93% of NC counties and in 43.1% of US jurisdictions.”
The software for the electronic voting systems used in the US [is] proprietary, not open source,” Lynn Bernstein tweeted on Tuesday. Despite the black box design, the source code for these systems is rarely, if ever, reviewed. Garcia “is doing his part to help improve election security in NC & in states that use these same voting systems,” Bernstein added.
