Wisconsin Rep. Ramthun Submits Bill to Remove Dead Voters From Voter Rolls on a Monthly Basis

Rep. Timothy Ramthun has submitted a bill that would require the Elections Commission to perform regular checks for deceased voters and update the voter rolls on a monthly basis. Failure to comply would result in a Class 1 felony.

Ramthun notes, “There are 7.1 million voters on the list when our state has roughly 4.5 million people old enough to vote. Last week we submitted this bill to remove deceased voters from the voter rolls.

Thank you Senator Jacque, and Representatives Allen, Behnke, Brandtjen, Brooks, Cabral-Guevara, Gundrum, Horlacher, Murphy, and Wichgers for joining us in this effort!”

WI GOP Submit Proposal to Put Election Integrity Measures on the Ballot, ‘Take Gov. Evers Out of the Picture’ | WISN

A proposal from some Wisconsin Republicans to put a number of election proposals before Wisconsin voters is receiving national attention.

A recording obtained by the Associated Press highlighted the effort, capturing former President Donald Trump spokesperson Hogan Gidley telling a group last week he's now working with Wisconsin Republicans to put several election changes on the ballot.

"I think it's one of the things they like best about the options here in Wisconsin," Bill McCoshen said, a lobbyist and head of the Common Sense Wisconsin policy board. "And let’s face it – this takes Gov. Evers right out of the picture in Wisconsin."
McCoshen said he recently met with Gidley, who is now director of the Center for Election Integrity at the American First Policy Institute.

McCoshen's proposal would put a number of common-sense election initiatives to a constitutional amendment and tighten several election laws, including ensuring universal early voting hours and prohibiting the use of private funds to help administer the election.

"Election integrity is by far the number one issue for Republican voters, and that’s not likely to change anytime in the next 12 months," McCoshen said.
The idea is being mirrored in other battleground states and would require the Legislature to approve the measure in two consecutive sessions before being placed on the ballot.

It would eliminate the power of any governor to veto the measures. Evers has rejected several election integrity bills approved by the Republican-majority Wisconsin legislature.

“I'd be disappointed," Evers said Monday. "That's an over-reach. We have a system that works. Let's move on."

Advocates are working to get the first vote before the Legislature this spring, potentially putting the measure on the ballot in April 2023, ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

VoterGA’s Attorney Appeared Unprepared at Hearing to Ban Georgia’s Dominion Machines, Case Likely to Be Dismissed

I wish I could blame it all on the corrupt judge, but VoterGA’s attorney did absolutely TERRIBLE.

- Nick Moseder

Background

In 2019, the GA State Legislature passed legislation mandating the use of electronic voting equipment in GA. SOS Raffensperger chose a Dominion system that includes a QR code on the ballot which is printed out from the ballot marking device. The code is then read by a scanner to tabulate the vote.

In the Curling v. Raffensperger case Judge Amy Totenberg ruled in October 2020 that Raffensperger’s QR-coded Dominion system was unverifiable and therefore violated the specifications set by the GA State Legislature. However, she offered no relief as the 2020 election was only weeks away. The VoterGA/ Rep. Philip Singleton lawsuit was initiated to follow up Totenberg’s decision and seek remedy through removal of the Dominion system.

Dismissal Hearing

In today’s hearing, the State of GA effectively argued for a dismissal of VoterGA’s case based on 1) sovereign immunity, 2) latches (delay in initiating the case), and 3) merits.

The State noted that nothing in the GA election code prohibits a the use of a ballot QR code and pointed out that the candidates’ names were also printed on the ballot. The State’s attorney also claimed that the machine produced an auditable trail and that a code was required for any scanner to read a ballot. Finally the State noted that the relief sought by VoterGA (the use of paper ballots) violated state law.

The State’s merits defense appeared to take VoterGA’s attorney Todd Harding by surprise. Harding only briefly and ineffectively argued against sovereign immunity and latches, offering no effective rebuttal to the State’s merits argument.

Judge Adams showed sympathy for the State of Georgia and requested proposed orders to be submitted by the litigants on Friday 12/17. VoterGA’s case is likely to be dismissed.

How Did Obama Win His 1996 Senate Seat? By Using Signature Verification to Disqualify His Opponents | Western Journal

A Chicago Tribune article published in April 2007 tells the unflattering truth. Tribune reporters David Jackson and Ray Long wrote that rather than winning the race “by leveling the playing field,” Obama won “by clearing it.”

On Jan. 2, 1996, according to Jackson and Long, “operatives for Barack Obama filed into a barren hearing room of the Chicago Board of Election Commissioners.”

“There they [Obama, his lawyer and his team] began the tedious process of challenging hundreds of signatures on the nominating petitions of state Sen. Alice Palmer … And they kept challenging petitions until every one of Obama’s four Democratic primary rivals was forced off the ballot,” the report said.

Nothing that Obama and his team did was illegal. One by one, they challenged each signature that his opponents had gathered as they were entitled to do.

Why was signature verification omitted from the $6M+ Arizona audit? Dr. Shiva asked to do a full signature error rate analysis, estimating that he would find at least 50K bad signatures. Why isn’t signature verification a regular audit centerpiece for absentee ballot elections? As Steve Bannon metronomically repeats, “It’s the canvass not the count.”

Obama Understood the Importance of Signature Verification in 1996, Why Is the GOP 25 Years Behind?

“In August of 2012, when the NYT was concerned that the Romney campaign was going to use just a slight uptick in mail-in balloting… they went through all the details of the long history and legacy of the problems with mail-in balloting… Election scholars for decades and decades and decades had agreed that the greatest risk to election integrity was mass mail-in balloting… The only method of checking to make sure that the person who cast their ballot [did so] in a constitutionally conforming manner… [is] a signature match.”

- Robert Barnes

How many signature match audits have been done so far in the 2020 election? Oh yeah ... zero. 0-fer 50 so far… Spoiler Alert: If a dead person votes ... the signature ain't gonna match.”

Georgia Senator Moves to Outlaw Abrams’ Drop Boxes | Just the News

In the summer before the contentious November 2020 election, the Democrats' most influential election lawyer, Marc Elias, used the pandemic to urge liberal grassroots groups to press for the deployment of mass drop boxes to collect an expected wave of absentee ballots.

The Democrats prevailed, as all but 10 states allowed drop boxes. And key battlegrounds like Georgia deployed them widely, especially in large blue counties like Fulton and Dekalb, where as many as 25% to 50% of absentee voters used them, according to media analyses.

But now that movement is facing pushback from influential Georgia Republican state Sen. Butch Miller. He authored the state election integrity law passed in March that tightened the rules for, but did not eliminate, ballot drop boxes.

Now, Miller says, he believes the drop boxes are too ripe for abuse and should be eliminated, introducing Senate Bill 325 this month to change the election integrity law to eliminate the authority for drop boxes.

"Drop boxes were introduced as an emergency measure during the pandemic, but many counties did not follow the security guidelines in place, such as the requirement for camera surveillance on every drop box," he said. "Moving forward, we can return to a pre-pandemic normal of voting in person.

"Removing drop boxes will help rebuild the trust that has been lost. Many see them as the weak link when it comes to securing our elections against fraud. For the small number of Georgians who need to vote absentee, that will remain as easy and accessible as it was before 2020."

Election Integrity Scorecard | Heritage Foundation

The future of this republic is in the hands of the American voter.

— Dwight D. Eisenhower

In order to help voters, state legislators, election officials, and all Americans who are interested in ensuring a fair and secure election process, The Heritage Foundation has published an Election Integrity Scorecard. The ranking system scores each state along 12 dimensions:

• Voter ID Implementation
• Accuracy of Voter Registration Lists
• Absentee Ballot Management
• Vote Harvesting/ Trafficking Restrictions
• Access of Election Observers
• Verification of Citizenship
• Identification for Voter Assistance
• Vote Counting Practices
• Election Litigation Procedures
• Restriction of Same-day Registration
• Restriction of Automatic Registration
• Restriction of Private Funding of Election Officials or Government Agencies

Blue states were among the worst performers, with New York (42), New Jersey (45), Vermont (47), Massachusetts (43) and the majority of western states, California (49), Oregon(48), Washington (45), Nevada (50), and Hawaii (51) placing in the bottom 11.

Surprises included low-ranking Utah (41) and Nebraska (43) and high-scoring Wisconsin (8) and Georgia (1), which received a higher rating after passing election integrity legislation this year.

The Heritage Foundation writes:

“Right now, there are many vulnerabilities in our system that make election fraud easy to commit and hard to catch either before or after the fact. Not only does fraud diminish voters’ say in their government, but it also diminishes their faith in the integrity of our unique American experiment.

The Heritage Foundation’s Election Fraud Database shows that election fraud occurs all too frequently in American elections… Mistakes by election officials and shoddy election procedures make fraud possible. Whether committed through innocent but avoidable errors or through malfeasance, these vulnerabilities in election procedures must be eliminated so that every legitimate vote counts.”

On 12/20, the Who’s Counting website featured a podcast on the survey with election law expert Hans von Spakovsky.

UncoverDC points out, “Spakovsky made it clear on the podcast that this scorecard looks at laws not compliance with the laws, a big distinction that some may misunderstand when they visit the site.” Spakovsky explained:

This is not a performance scorecard. You know, we very prominently say on the first page that the best laws and regulations in the world aren’t going to do any good if election officials are not complying with those laws or not enforcing them. But it’s hard to come up with objective criteria to judge that.”

Amtrak Reverses Course on Shot Mandate - Resistance From Just 6% of Employees Made the Difference | Liberty Counsel

Amtrak has suspended its COVID-19 shot mandate for employees in order to avoid service interruptions and allow the passenger trains to operate as scheduled.

The rail company was previously requiring a mandate to take effect on January 4 even though the company admitted that losing hundreds of employees would have caused the rail operator to alter its service for months. About six percent of the railroad’s workforce could have been terminated for not receiving the injection.

“If the media was doing its job they’d point to pro sports leagues and ask Biden and Fauci to explain what’s going on there. Those leagues did exactly what you asked and got everyone vaccinated. Yet all three leagues are presently hitting all time highs for covid cases.

We have a massive control group of almost 100% vaxxed healthy young athletes being tested regularly & they have way more covid cases this year after vaccines than they had last year with no vaccines. How? How is Joe Biden arguing vaccines will end covid? Not asking these questions is the very definition of being anti-science.”
