Facebook Admits What We’ve Known All Along, Their ‘Fact Checks’ Are Just Opinions

In a response to a recent defamation lawsuit, Meta, formerly known as Facebook, admitted that its fact checks are just censorship laundering tools.

Meta’s attorneys assert that the firm’s fact checks “constitute protected opinion” and do not actually verify facts. “Opinions are not subject to defamation claims,” Anthony Watts explains.

In light of Meta’s admission, it's time for the Washington Post to offer a correction to the piece published on 11/10: Fact checks actually work, even on Facebook. But not enough people see them, notes American Thinker.

“So-called ‘fact-checking’ is a fraud used to cover up the censorship of opinions that differ from those of the powerful Silicon Valley oligarchy. And now we have proof attested to in a court filing by one of the richest companies in the world, represented by some of the most elite lawyers in the world,” American Thinker adds

Never Forget: ‘Fact-ChecksHelped Swing the Election for Dems | The Epoch Times, Cape Charles Mirror

“It’s been more than a year since Facebook and Twitter colluded with Democrat-friendly media to censor a story that reflected badly on their preferred candidate less than three weeks before the 2020 election,” the Cape Charles Mirror writes.

“If the full story of the Bidens’ international influence-peddling scheme had been told before the election, polls indicate it [would] have affected the result. Almost 50 percent of Biden voters knew nothing about Hunter’s laptop scandal, according to polling conducted after the election by the Media Research Center, and almost 10 percent said they would not have voted for Biden had they known.”

A November 2020 Epoch Times article detailed the extent to which fact-checks and censorship by BigTech and the propaganda press quarterbacked the election for Dems:

Knowing about allegations involving Biden’s son Hunter’s dealings with officials and firms in China, Ukraine, and Russia would have prompted 9.4 percent of those polled to change their vote, according to a survey (pdf) of 1,750 Biden voters in Nevada, Georgia, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Arizona, and Michigan.

Subtracting the votes of respondents who said they would have changed their decision from Biden’s total in the seven states would have pushed Trump to 311 electoral votes, more than enough to reelect him, according to the survey.

Scientists Discover Tipping Point for the Spread of Ideas | Rennsselaer News

Scientists at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute have found that when just 10 percent of the population holds an unshakable belief, their belief will always be adopted by the majority of the society. The scientists, who are members of the Social Cognitive Networks Academic Research Center (SCNARC) at Rensselaer, used computational and analytical methods to discover the tipping point where a minority belief becomes the majority opinion.

“When the number of committed opinion holders is below 10 percent, there is no visible progress in the spread of ideas. It would literally take the amount of time comparable to the age of the universe for this size group to reach the majority,” said SCNARC Director Boleslaw Szymanski, the Claire and Roland Schmitt Distinguished Professor at Rensselaer. “Once that number grows above 10 percent, the idea spreads like flame.

To reach their conclusion, the scientists developed computer models of various types of social networks. The scientists then “sprinkled” in some true believers throughout each of the networks. These people were completely set in their views and unflappable in modifying those beliefs. As those true believers began to converse with those who held the traditional belief system, the tides gradually and then very abruptly began to shift.

“As agents of change start to convince more and more people, the situation begins to change,” Sreenivasan said. “People begin to question their own views at first and then completely adopt the new view to spread it even further.”

The researchers are now looking looking to study how the percentage might change when input into a model where the society is polarized. Instead of simply holding one traditional view, the society would instead hold two opposing viewpoints. An example of this polarization would be Democrat versus Republican.

Trump Was Right to Question the Georgia Election Results | Kevin Moncla UncoverDC

On November 4th, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger told the Today Show that Georgia had 4.7M voters in the 2020 election and about 98% of the votes were counted. At the time, Trump had a 103K vote lead:

“We had great success yesterday. We had about 4.7M voters who voted, a record-breaker for us, beats the 4.1M in 2016We have about 2% left to go, and you can see where we are right now with the results that have been reported. I don’t think they’ll change any outcomes….

We don’t guess. What we do is report. We just see where the candidates are right now in both Presidential, Congressional, and Senatorial, and you look at how many votes are out there. Even if one of the candidates got 100%, it wouldn’t be enough to move it one way or the other.

Two percent of 4.7M represents about 94K uncounted ballots, which as Raffensperger correctly pointed out, fell below Trump’s 103,705 vote lead.

The SOS was confident enough in these figures to tell the Today Show hosts that the final results would be out by the end of the day (11/4). Raffensperger had every reason to speak to with certainty. His office had purchased a state-of-the-art tracking portal that provided real time monitoring of every absentee ballot. He knew the exact number of ballots and where each one was in the voting chain, Moncla writes.

However, instead of delivering results on 11/4 as promised, Georgia continued counting for another three days, ultimately reporting 5.0M votes on November 7th, adding 300K outcome-altering absentee ballots to Raffensperger’s Today Show total. Where did those extra ballots come from? “More to come soon,” Moncla says.

True the Vote Update: GBI Declines to Investigate, True the Vote Threatens Lawsuit

We’ve had several requests for an update on True the Vote’s efforts to expose drop box ballot trafficking in Georgia. The following summary is based on an article published by Breitbart in late October:

Sometime around October 21st, Victor Reynolds, Director of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), publicly shared a September 30th letter he wrote to True the Vote and Georgia Republican Party Chairman David Shafer. In the letter, Reynolds declines to investigate True the Vote’s ballot trafficking allegations due to insufficient evidence:

[True the Vote provided the GBI with a] spreadsheet listing approximately 1,048,575 Mobile Device Identification Numbers and their geolocation from October 1, 2020 to January 5, 2021.

Of those datapoints, the spreadsheets identify 279 cellphones which had made multiple trips to within 100 feet of a voter drop box. Other spreadsheets and documents provided tie these cell phones through geolocation to various organizations.

What has not been provided is any other kind of evidence that ties these cell phones to ballot harvesting; for example, there are no statements of witnesses and no names of any potential defendants to interview. Saliently, it has been stated that there is ‘a source’ that can validate ballot harvesting. Despite repeated requests that source has not been provided to either the GBI or to the FBI.

As it exists, the data, while curious, does not rise to the level of probable cause that a crime has been committed.”

On October 22nd, True the Vote’s attorney Jim Bopp submitted a letter to Gov. Brian Kemp requesting that he, along with the GBI and SOS Brad Raffensperger, preserve all documents “in light of the serious nature of the [GBI Director’s] leak and the likelihood of litigation,” arguing that the GBI letter “should never have been taken from the FBI files and publicly released” as it contained “information provided confidentially to the FBI.”

In his letter to Kemp, Bopp notes that Director Reynolds’ letter “mischaracterizes and selectively omits the evidence that True the Vote provided in a confidential meeting attended by representatives of your office, and representatives of the GBI, including the author of the letter in question, GBI Director D. Victor Reynolds.”

Bopp’s letter to Kemp continues:

The letter [released to the media by GBI Director Reynolds] acknowledges that True the Vote’s preliminary data analysis, as presented to your office in April of 2021, provided evidence that 279 cellphones had made “multiple trips to within 100 feet of a voter drop box” during the 2020 General Election and U.S. Senate Runoff Election Periods. Despite characterizing this data as “curious,” GBI Director Reynolds claimed such evidence could not “rise to the level of probable cause.”

This preliminary data, first provided to the FBI in March [by True the Vote], has been augmented by True the Vote’s further data analysis, voter drop box surveillance video, chain of custody documents, and other critical corroborating evidence. Notably, Director Reynolds refused to meet with representatives of True the Vote after April of 2021 so that he could supplement the preliminary data he found so “curious.”

What is actually curious is Director Reynolds’ legal analysis on probable cause, as similar information has been found to provide probable cause leading to indictments related to election crimes in other states. Curiouser still, is Director Reynolds’ repeated communications to True the Vote’s representatives stating that he had no jurisdiction to investigate or address these potential election crimes, even if given what he deemed sufficient probable cause

[W]e request that your office, the GBI, and any other recipient copied on this letter preserve all correspondence, whether verbal and written, related to this matter.

DeSantis Proposes $8 Million in Budget to Relocate Illegal Immigrants to Delaware, Martha’s Vineyard | Epoch Times

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis earmarked $8 million in his 2022–23 budget to transport illegal immigrants out of The Sunshine State.

He proposed the spending in the Freedom First Budget to protect against harms resulting from illegal immigration. The spending may include the transportation of unauthorized aliens located within Florida to other states or the District of Columbia.

“In yesterday’s budget, I put in $8 million for us to be able to transport people [who are in the US] illegally out of the state of Florida,” he said during a press conference on Friday.

The Republican governor listed Delaware, President Joe Biden’s hometown state, and Martha’s Vineyard, where former President Barack Obama owns a mansion, as potential destinations to relocate the illegal immigrants.

“If you sent [illegal immigrants] to Delaware or Martha’s Vineyard or some of these places, that border would be secure the next day,” he said.

This is the first landmark decision regarding compulsory vaccinations in the United States by SCOTUS.

Now, thousands of New York healthcare workers face the loss of their jobs and eligibility for unemployment benefits.”

WI GOP Submit Proposal to Put Election Integrity Measures on the Ballot, ‘Take Gov. Evers Out of the Picture’ | WISN

A proposal from some Wisconsin Republicans to put a number of election proposals before Wisconsin voters is receiving national attention.

A recording obtained by the Associated Press highlighted the effort, capturing former President Donald Trump spokesperson Hogan Gidley telling a group last week he's now working with Wisconsin Republicans to put several election changes on the ballot.

"I think it's one of the things they like best about the options here in Wisconsin," Bill McCoshen said, a lobbyist and head of the Common Sense Wisconsin policy board. "And let’s face it – this takes Gov. Evers right out of the picture in Wisconsin."
McCoshen said he recently met with Gidley, who is now director of the Center for Election Integrity at the American First Policy Institute.

McCoshen's proposal would put a number of common-sense election initiatives to a constitutional amendment and tighten several election laws, including ensuring universal early voting hours and prohibiting the use of private funds to help administer the election.

"Election integrity is by far the number one issue for Republican voters, and that’s not likely to change anytime in the next 12 months," McCoshen said.
The idea is being mirrored in other battleground states and would require the Legislature to approve the measure in two consecutive sessions before being placed on the ballot.

It would eliminate the power of any governor to veto the measures. Evers has rejected several election integrity bills approved by the Republican-majority Wisconsin legislature.

“I'd be disappointed," Evers said Monday. "That's an over-reach. We have a system that works. Let's move on."

Advocates are working to get the first vote before the Legislature this spring, potentially putting the measure on the ballot in April 2023, ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

VoterGA’s Attorney Appeared Unprepared at Hearing to Ban Georgia’s Dominion Machines, Case Likely to Be Dismissed

I wish I could blame it all on the corrupt judge, but VoterGA’s attorney did absolutely TERRIBLE.

- Nick Moseder

Background

In 2019, the GA State Legislature passed legislation mandating the use of electronic voting equipment in GA. SOS Raffensperger chose a Dominion system that includes a QR code on the ballot which is printed out from the ballot marking device. The code is then read by a scanner to tabulate the vote.

In the Curling v. Raffensperger case Judge Amy Totenberg ruled in October 2020 that Raffensperger’s QR-coded Dominion system was unverifiable and therefore violated the specifications set by the GA State Legislature. However, she offered no relief as the 2020 election was only weeks away. The VoterGA/ Rep. Philip Singleton lawsuit was initiated to follow up Totenberg’s decision and seek remedy through removal of the Dominion system.

Dismissal Hearing

In today’s hearing, the State of GA effectively argued for a dismissal of VoterGA’s case based on 1) sovereign immunity, 2) latches (delay in initiating the case), and 3) merits.

The State noted that nothing in the GA election code prohibits a the use of a ballot QR code and pointed out that the candidates’ names were also printed on the ballot. The State’s attorney also claimed that the machine produced an auditable trail and that a code was required for any scanner to read a ballot. Finally the State noted that the relief sought by VoterGA (the use of paper ballots) violated state law.

The State’s merits defense appeared to take VoterGA’s attorney Todd Harding by surprise. Harding only briefly and ineffectively argued against sovereign immunity and latches, offering no effective rebuttal to the State’s merits argument.

Judge Adams showed sympathy for the State of Georgia and requested proposed orders to be submitted by the litigants on Friday 12/17. VoterGA’s case is likely to be dismissed.
