Trump Calls Out Texas Governor for ‘Watered Down’ Election Integrity Fight

In a strongly worded letter to Governor Abbott, Trump writes: “We need HB 16, which was just filed in the Third Special Session. This legislation specifically addresses the 2020 Presidential Election, and enables audits for future elections. The bill creates a process for candidates and party chairs to initiate an audit, and uses the same language as SB 97, which already passed the Texas State Senate, but did not have enough time to make it through the House during the Second Special Session.”

“Governor Abbott, we need a “Forensic Audit of the 2020 Election” added to the call. We’re quickly running out of time and it must be done this week. Texans know voting fraud occurred in some of their counties. Let’s get to the bottom of the 2020 Presidential Election Scam!”

Texas Secretary of State’s Office Announces Full Forensic Audit of 2020 General Election in Four Texas Counties

Today, the Texas Secretary of State’s office announced it will conduct a full forensic audit of the 2020 election and reported that it has already begun the process in Texas’ two largest Democrat counties and two largest Republican counties — Dallas, Harris, Tarrant, and Collin.

A statement sent to CBS 11 said in part: Under existing Texas laws, the Secretary of State has the authority to conduct a full and comprehensive forensic audit. We anticipate the Legislature will provide funds for this purpose.

The announcement follows a letter from President Trump today that excoriated Governor Abbott for his “watered-down” election integrity fight.

PA Attorney General Josh Shapiro Sues to Block Republican Election Subpoenas

After calling the Pennsylvania State Senate’s election investigation subpoenas pointless, Attorney General Josh Shapiro is now suing to have them blocked.

On 9/15, Shapiro tweeted: “No need for subpoenas, you guys already have access.”

Today Shapiro’s office filed suit, arguing that the subpoenas target constitutionally protected information without justification, given the lack of evidence of widespread electoral fraud, state media Reuters reported.

"Giving this data away would compromise the privacy of every Pennsylvania voter — that violates Pennsylvanians’ constitutional rights," Shapiro said in a statement.

PA Senate Democrats have also filed a 53-page lawsuit to stop the subpoenas and thwart the Republicans’ forensic investigation.

2020 Election Improper Governmental Operations of the Maricopa County Elections Department and Board of Supervisors — Report Submitted to Senate and Attorney General

We the People AZ Alliance has drafted a report detailing numerous election statute violations by Maricopa Country during the 2020 election. The report explains:

“In order to ensure that the millions of mail in ballots that were issued in Maricopa County are limited to the receipt and usage of ONLY authorized voters, it is highly dependent on signature verification and firm adherence to statute and policy.

Although ballot harvesting was banned in the State of Arizona in 2016 by HB2023, it is clear by multiple observers and Maricopa election workers that the practice continues in significant numbers...”

For example, a Maricopa County election worker (Witness 1) testified:

“I worked at multiple drop box locations in the valley. I witnessed cars with one or two people dropping off as many as 20 or 30 ballots at a time. Also, on multiple occasions, ballots were returned to them because they were missing signatures and I witnessed them pull out of line, sign all of the ballots and return through the line. I was instructed that we are not allowed to refuse to accept a ballot.”

“Ballot drop boxes at Turf Paradise location were left open and unlocked and when I reported it, I was reassigned to a different location.“

In addition to ballot harvesting, the report goes on to cite numerous other transgressions including, lack of signature verification, suspicious ballot duplication procedures, and lack of voting system security.

An affidavit from a signature verification election worker (Witness 2) stated the following: 

“Signature verification standards were constantly being lowered by Supervisors in order to more quickly process that higher amount of early and mail-in ballots (from approx. 15 points of similarities, to a minimum of 3, lowered to 1, and ultimately to none – ‘Just pass each signature verification through’) ‘There are too many rejections of ballots each day, so push them through.’”

Attorney General Mark Brnovich Issues Statement Regarding Arizona Senate's Draft Report on Audit | AG Press Release

PHOENIX — Attorney General Mark Brnovich released the following statement regarding the Arizona Senate's draft report regarding the 2020 Election Audit in Maricopa County:

“I will take all necessary actions that are supported by the evidence and where I have legal authority. Arizonans deserve to have their votes accurately counted and protected.”

The Arizona Attorney General's Office (AGO) has an Election Integrity Unit (EIU) that will thoroughly review the Senate's information and evidence. The AGO cannot comment on specific allegations until its review is complete. For more on EIU actions, click here.

Attorney General Brnovich has taken numerous actions over the past year fighting for election integrity in Arizona, recently winning at the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) in Brnovich v. DNC. General Brnovich also consistently supported the Senate’s authority to conduct the audit, and in December 2020 the AGO filed an amicus brief supporting the Senate’s subpoena authority. General Brnovich also called for an increase in the hand count audit by Maricopa County back in November of 2020 to increase voter confidence in the results.

Maricopa County Audit Confirms Certified Vote Total Is False — Auditors Recommend AG Investigation

The final audit report identifies more than 53K questionable votes, intentionally deleted election files, and other suspicious voting machine activity.

Cyber Ninjas recommends, “several specific findings of our audit be further reviewed by the Arizona Attorney General for a possible investigation. Such other findings include the following:

• None of the various systems related to elections had numbers that would balance and agree with each other. In some cases, these differences were significant.

• There appears to be as many as 27,807 ballots cast from individuals who had moved prior to the election.

• Files were missing from the Election Management System (EMS) Server.

• Ballot images 284,412 on the EMS were corrupt or missing.

• Logs appeared to be intentionally rolled over, and all the data in the database related to the 2020 General Election had been fully cleared.

• On the ballot side, batches were not always clearly delineated, duplicated ballots were missing the required serial numbers, originals were duplicated more than once, and the Auditors were never provided Chain-of-Custody documentation for the ballots for the time-period prior to the ballot’s movement into the Auditors’ care. This all increased the complexity and difficulty in properly auditing the results; and added ambiguity into the final conclusions.

• Maricopa County failed to follow basic cyber security best practices and guidelines from CISA

• Software and patch protocols were not followed

• Credential management was flawed: unique usernames and passwords were not allocated

• Lack of baseline for host and network activity for approved programs, communications protocols and communications devices for voting systems.”

The report also references 255,326 early votes that have no corresponding record in the County’s early voting return file, which means early ballots were sent to a quarter of a million voters who did not request them (in violation of state law).

The Kinematic Artifact Detection analysis is still in process. A full evaluation of the ballot paper as well as bleed-through and printer mis-calibration issues is expected in the coming weeks.
