Court Rules Judicial Watch Lawsuit Can Proceed Against Colorado Officials to Force Cleanup of State’s Voter Rolls | Judicial Watch

Judicial Watch filed the lawsuit October 5, 2020, in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado on behalf of itself and three residents of Colorado against Jena Griswold, Colorado Secretary of State, and the State of Colorado for failing to clean the state’s voter rolls as required by the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 (NVRA).

In its lawsuit against Colorado Judicial Watch argues:

• A 2019 study showed that 40 of Colorado’s 64 counties had voter registration rates exceeding 100% of the eligible citizen voting-age population. The share of Colorado counties with registration rates exceeding 100% was the highest in the nation.

• Data Colorado itself provided to the federal Election Assistance Commission (EAC) showed that Colorado was lagging in the processing and removal of ineligible registrations belonging to those who had moved out of state.

• In the last two years, 60 of Colorado’s 64 counties had a higher percentage of inactive registrations than the national median.

• In eight Colorado counties, more than one in six registrations belonged to an inactive voter.

“Dirty voting rolls can mean dirty elections. And this court victory highlights how Colorado citizens and voters have a right to expect that the state’s voting rolls are reasonably kept up to date, as federal law requires,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.

Impeachment: High Crimes and Misdemeanors in 1787 | American Thinker

Robert Lucas of American Thinker argues that the Founding Fathers intended “high crimes and misdemeanors” to include poor character as an impeachable offense.

In essence, when looking at crimes and misdemeanors from the perspective of the Founders, a crime was considered any violation of English Common Law, and misdemeanor covered the bad behavior and poor conduct.

The Miller Center includes a speech Madison made at Congress from an article entitled Impeachment in the 1780s following the ratification of the Constitution on June 16, 1789:

“When we consider that the first magistrate is to be appointed at present by the suffrages of three millions of people, and in all human probability in a few years time by double that number, it is not to be presumed that a vicious or bad character will be selected. If the government of any country on the face of the earth was ever effectually guarded against the election of ambitious or designing characters to the first office of the state, I think it may with truth be said to be the case under the constitution of the United States… Where the people are disposed to give so great an elevation to one of their fellow citizens, I own that I am not afraid to place my confidence in him; especially when I know he is impeachable for any crime or misdemeanor, before the senate, at all times…”

The distinction between a crime and misdemeanor may have been lost to time, but there was a clear difference when the Constitution was written. When that time is used as the sole reference of what constitutes an impeachable offense, it is clear that no crime must be committed for an impeachment to be justified.

Texas Legislature Passes Sweeping Election Bill and Sends to Governor Greg Abbott for Signature | CBS

The Texas Legislature sent a sweeping Republican-backed election bill to Governor Greg Abbott's desk on Tuesday, ending a months-long standoff with Democrats, who tried to defeat the effort in two separate walkouts

"Senate Bill 1 will solidify trust and confidence in the outcome of our elections by making it easier to vote and harder to cheat. I look forward to signing Senate Bill 1 into law, ensuring election integrity in Texas," Abbott said in a statement.

The bill eliminates drive-thru and 24-hour early voting, both of which were widely used in the Houston area last year during the pandemic. It would also expand early voting hours in some smaller and medium-sized counties; add ID requirements for voting by mail; ban officials from sending unsolicited absentee ballots requests; give more powers to partisan poll watchers; create new rules, with potential criminal penalties, for election workers and people who assist voters; and lower the standard for overturning an election based on fraud.

Pathological Liar: Biden Told Afghan President They Needed to 'Change Perception' of the Taliban's Rapid Advance

As Biden repeats claim that 'nobody could have known' Afghan Army would collapse, bombshell transcript from July reveals he pressured Afghan President Ghani to create 'perception' Taliban wasn't winning 'WHETHER IT'S TRUE OR NOT'

Four weeks before Kabul collapsed, Ghani pleaded for more air support and money for soldiers who had not had a pay rise in a decade.

A transcript obtained by Reuters reveals two leaders oblivious to the impending disaster and an American president focused on spinning the message.

'I need not tell you the perception around the world and in parts of , I believe, is that things are not going well in terms of the fight against the Taliban,' Biden said.

'And there is a need, whether it is true or not, there is a need to project a different picture.'

Operation Cover-up: Biden Regime Erased Afghan Weapons Reports From Federal Websites | Forbes

The War in Afghanistan has always been a black box, but the Biden administration just made matters worse.

According to an admission obtained from the State Department, Biden officials recently directed federal agencies to scrub their websites of official reports detailing the $82.9 billion in military equipment and training provided to the Afghan security forces since 2001.

The scrubbed audits and reports included detailed accounting of what the U.S. had provided to Afghan forces, down to the number of night vision devices, hand grenades, Black Hawk helicopters, and armored vehicles.

Reports further quantified 208 aircraft and helicopters; 75,000 war vehicles – including 22 Humvees, 50,000 tactical vehicles and nearly 1,000 mine resistant vehicles; and 600,000 weapons – including 350,000 M4 and M16 rifles, 60,000 machine guns, and 25,000 grenade launchers.

If the Trump administration started vanishing government reports and justifying their actions with weak, obviously political excuses, can anyone with a straight face say it wouldn’t lead the nightly news?

Resign Now: 52% Want Biden Out But Fear Worse Under Harris | Washington Examiner

People have seen enough of Joe Biden and his administration’s bumbling over the Afghan withdrawal and now want him to resign.

In the latest shocking display of the president’s polling free fall, the latest Rasmussen Reports survey found that a majority, 52%, wants Biden to resign over the withdrawal alone. Just 39% disagrees, far short of his [alleged] political base.

But, as other polls have shown, likely voters surveyed do not want Vice President Kamala Harris to step in, viewing her as unqualified.

Only 38% said she is “qualified” to be president, while a sizable 58% said she isn’t. And 47% said she is “not at all qualified,” the lowest rating in the poll.

It’s not just Republicans that want Biden out, the Rasmussen poll also reveals that Democrat support for the Biden/ Harris regime has buckled:

• 32% say Biden should resign now

• 40% say Biden deserves to be impeached

• 33% say Harris is not qualified to be President

Will the Texas Audit Bill Get Voted on This Year? It’s up to Governor Abbott | OAN

Texas has an opportunity to pass Rep. Steve Toth’s 13-county audit bill this year but it requires Governor Abbott’s help.

The Texas special legislative session ends on Monday September 6th - the legislature will then adjourn for the year. In order for Toth’s audit bill to be considered in this session, Governor Abbott needs to add it to the legislative calendar. Abbott has previously said that he fully endorses an audit of the 2020 Election.

Help keep Texas red: please take a minute ask Governor Abbott to add Toth’s bill to this session’s agenda and ask Lieutenant Governor Patrick to support the bill in the Senate.

GOP Lawmakers Go to Court to Challenge Pennsylvania’s Mail-In Voting Law

Fourteen Republican state lawmakers have filed a new lawsuit challenging Pennsylvania’s mail-in voting law, calling it unconstitutional and asking for it to be thrown out — even though 11 of those lawmakers supported it just two years ago.

The central claim of the lawsuit is that the law — which allowed no-excuse voting by mail — violates a constitutional provision that requires lawmakers to provide a way for people to vote if they are unable to do so in person for specific reasons. Those reasons include being out of town on business, illness, physical disability, Election Day duties or a religious observance.

But the lawsuit contends that the 2019 law violates that because it allows people to vote by mail even if they do not meet fall under one of those categories.
