Ron Johnson, R-Wis., the former chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee and current ranking member on the powerful Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, told the John Solomon Reports podcast on Friday that... he is worried Hunter Biden's relationship with Chinese nationals could impair his father's ability to negotiate U.S. policy with China.

"This is pretty obvious that this is a serious problem when it comes to counterintelligence threats, potential extortion, because now you've got President Biden dealing with Chinese. What all does the Communist Party of China have, in terms of information, that just might impact U.S. policy toward China if Joe Biden and Hunter Biden knows what they know, and want to make sure that they never reveal it publicly?"

The GOP majority within the Michigan State Legislature have drafted an expansive election integrity package. This package consists of 39 sub-bills summarized and linked in the following PDF.

The good! 😃 There are many promising laws in the package — addressing voter ID requirements, signature verification, tougher criminal penalties for fraud, and protection against Zuckerbucks, among others. A few of these bills also strengthen provisions for military members and their families who are forced to vote absentee due to service commitments.

The bad ... 😢: We are still wading through the details of the legislation but one thing that stands out is the absence of any provisions to address / remove the Dominion machines. The language of some of these bills is also weak — "will allow” and “may provide”, among others — and will need to be strengthened. Ejected poll observers were “allowed” at TCF but it didn't mean anything. Eliminating the use of Dominion and other electronic voting software will be a HUGE priority in our election reform emails to the state legislature.

All in all, this package is very encouraging! Despite the gutless inaction of legislators during the 2020 election, this election integrity package is a sign that the GOP majority has at least, in part, recognized there are massive issues with Michigan's current voting laws. It's up to us to make sure these bills are strong enough to withstand the Three Witches of Michigan.

GA SoS Raffensperger Files Legal Brief To Prevent Real Audit Of Ballots From 2020 Election

GA Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger seems like he has a secret. The man in charge of ensuring fair elections in the Peach State really doesn’t want anyone looking at the actual ballots from the Nov 3rd U.S. general election.

Here are some amazing highlights from the legal filing:

Raffensperger suggests he is simply ‘protecting the public’s interest’ in allowing on the ballot images to be used, and not the actual paper records.

“The Secretary respectfully requests that the Court permit Petitioners to inspect ballot images only, and deny Petitioners’ request to inspect and scan ballots.”

And, he doesn’t want any outside technology that can detect counterfeit ballots.

“Moreover, the scanning and tabulation of ballots is only permitted under Georgia law to be conducted on the equipment selected and furnished by the State of Georgia.

There is simply no legal basis for unauthorized third parties such as Petitioners to electronically scan ballots using their own equipment in order to conduct their own independent tabulation of ballots.

Allowing Petitioners to conduct their own scan on uncertified and unknown equipment is contrary to law and would set a new and dangerous precedent going forward.”

Perhaps Raffensperger should add to his brief that only Chinese equipment is allowed to scan American ballots.

22 States Join Lawsuit Urging Federal Court to Rule Against California’s Large-Capacity Gun Magazine Ban

A coalition of 22 states led by Republican attorneys general called on the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals to rule against California’s attempt to ban magazines that hold more than 10 rounds.

“California politicians are at it again, convinced that their agendas should override the Constitutional rights of the people,” said Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich, a Republican, in a statement, filing an amicus brief in the case.

He added, “Attempts to undermine the Second Amendment or any of our civil rights and liberties should be met with deep skepticism and vigorous opposition.”
