❗️Do you remember this photo? When the IDF lied again and claimed they found these in a school?

On 16 April 2026, the Israeli army spokesperson published an image claiming it was from a “school in South Lebanon" showing a number of weapons, most of which appear to be hunting rifles.

She claimed that more than 130 weapons belonging to Hezbollah were found inside the school, only hours after a video circulated documenting the Israeli army’s demolition of the Public Secondary School in Marwahin in South Lebanon.

However....

A Lebanese judicial source confirmed to The Legal Agenda that this image does not originate from a school, but from a courtroom in the Bint Jbeil courthouse.

... and that the weapons shown are judicially seized items held in official custody, a fact also confirmed by lawyers who regularly attend the court.

The source further clarified that the weapons bear labels indicating the names of defendants and case numbers, which are visible in the image alongside the courtroom seating.

An initial review of the video documenting the school’s destruction shows no military activity in its vicinity.

The nature of the explosion further indicates a controlled demolition using planted explosives, suggesting prior control of the site by Israeli forces and undermining any claim of military necessity.

-These elements refute the claim that the school was being used for military purposes and reveal an attempt to justify the targeting of an educational civilian facility through misleading information.

Given its nature and function, the destruction of a school raises serious concerns of violations of the principle of distinction between military objectives and civilian objects, particularly in the absence of any evidence of its use in hostilities, and in the absence of any demonstrated military necessity.

The massively enlarged red part near Christophani ridge is a small IDF presence that came in an airlift from the Golan Heights and Syria. Mostly the latter

They want to establish a permanent presence there like they did in Syria's Jabal al-Sheikh one day after the coward Bachar al-Assad ran away.

As for the Litani area, they didn't cross the river and they neither control or have any presence in Yohmor and Beaufort ridge.

These two they only want to depopulate to because anyone there can see the whole Israeli occupied areas and anyone there can see a lot of the south.

No Israeli presence in Kounine either. Al-Tiri? Barely if none.

The Christophani ridge is this thin and the IDF presence will barely be an observation base. The ridge is as important as it gets. They themselves acknowledged they entered it during the ceasefire.

For the second day in a row, Israeli soldier vehicles and soldiers fall into pre-layed IED traps.

So far 2 have been confirmed killed and acknowledged by the Israelis. The latest was from the 769th "Hiram" Regional Brigade's 7106th Battalion, from Ashdod.

Several other soldiers were seriously injured in coma or ICU and others moderately losing a couple of eyes, limbs or testicles.

The other that was killed was an old guy from the 226th Reserve Paratroopers Brigade's 7056th Battalion, from Adi.

His family quoted him saying that he told them he went to the reserves because "there are not enough soldiers"

In the past 24 hours, more than 37 Israeli soldiers were injured in south Lebanon

Yet some people want you to believe south Lebanon was an easy breeze.

So what are Israeli soldier and civilians doing now in south Lebanon?

Israeli soldiers are working on building bases while Israeli civilians are working on demolishing Lebanon towns.

Report: Civilian contractors carry out the destruction of civilian infrastructure in southern Lebanon modeled on Gaza operations

The Israeli army continues to demolish homes and civilian infrastructure in southern Lebanon, violating the 10-day ceasefire in Lebanon.

Haaretz reported today citing sources, that by destroying civilian infrastructure south of the Litani River, Israel is employing a policy modeled on Gaza operations, with contractors and heavy machinery demolishing civilian infrastructure south of the Litani.

The newspaper, citing military sources, reported that dozens of engineering vehicles had been recently deployed in Southern Lebanon, most operated by civilian contractors who receive bonuses based on the number of buildings they demolish.

It added that some of these contractors had previously worked in Gaza.

Officials said to the newspaper that it aims to prevent residents' return and entrench an Israeli security zone inside Lebanon.

This constitutes further evidence of an Israeli systematic strategy of erasing villages and ethnic cleansing with an aim of perpetuating the occupation.

All of this is done under the coverage of arbitrary interpretation of the concept of "the right to self defence" that Israel is holding under the agreement announced by Washington on 16 April without any condemnation from the Lebanese government.

Haaretz reported in June 2025 that private contractors in Gaza were receiving around $1,500 (5,000 shekels) for every house they demolish, and were making a fortune.

The newspaper added that these
contractors demolish wherever they want and even in areas not designated for demolition, and that Palestinians were killed while Israeli forces were protecting them.
