The greatness and wisdom he can offer. For decades he was shadowed by a man that is unprecedented in our history.

He will always be, but today, he is the best man to lead Hezbullah in the harshest period of its struggle after leading it through the harshest war it was subjected to

Sayyed Hassan was martyred at the peak of his legacy, Sheikh Naim will work on safeguarding this legacy

People are worried, the speech was high tone but it is intended to escalate to de-escalate.

Hezbullah neither wants a war with Israel nor a war with the Lebanese state.

They are just telling the state that if they want to fight Hezbullah and forcefully disarm, Hezbullah will forcefully reject.

Hezbullah has neither left the government yet, protested, nor escalated and they intend to keep it so.

The ball is in Aoun's and Nawaf's court. As simple as that. They cannot simply come and de-legitimize something that previous governments have considered legitimate and suddenly decide to make a U.S decree a Lebanese law

Highlights from the speech of Hezbollah Secretary-General, His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem at the Arbaeen commemoration of Imam Hussein (AS) in Baalbek:

– I salute these Husayni [referring to Imam Hussein (P) ]crowds who came from all villages and from the Baalbek-Hermel area to mark the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein (P).

– I salute the large and great crowds who walked the path of Karbala to commemorate this painful occasion.

– The more we commemorate this occasion, the more we discover its lights and its offerings.

– Establishing religion comes with dignity, high morale, and a strong stance in facing challenges — this is what Imam Hussein (PBUH) did along with his family and companions, who do not submit to falsehood or deviation.

– We are on the path of relief by the blessing of the jihad and revolution of Imam Hussein (PBUH)

– The martyrdom of Imam Hussein is not limited to attaining martyrdom alone; rather, the Imam transformed martyrdom from an individual act into the revival of the community. His martyrdom was not life only for him or his companions, but life for the entire Ummah, from which it draws for its future.

– We are faced with two choices: to be with Hussein or to be with Yazid in every stage of history. In our era, our choice is to be with the Hussein of this age, embodied in the sacrifices and positions of Imam Khomeini, followed by Imam Khamenei, and on whose path walked Sheikh Ragheb, Sayyed Abbas, and His Eminence Sayyed Nasrallah.

– We stand for the liberation of Palestine and against the Yazid of this age, represented by the American tyrant, the "Israeli" oppressor, and all who follow this path.

– The Resistance today is the product of the Karbala school.

– We build our society, future, children, and lives upon the foundation of the Husayni-Karbala’i-Zaynabi upbringing, which melts in love for Allah Almighty.

– The Resistance is the product of the Karbala school; it is the life of the Ummah on the path of Imam Hussein and the banner that will be handed to the Master of the Age.

– On August 14, 2006, we celebrated the July Victory, when the Resistance fought a great aggressive war for 33 days, resulting in a great triumph through the “Truthful Promise” battle.

– The July Victory was among the blessings of the Muhammadi-Alawi divine support, for Allah aided us despite our small numbers and the many enemies.

– The July Victory is a victory of will and Resistance, and a defeat for “Israel,” preventing it from occupation and settlement in Lebanon. It is a victory for the tripartite equation of the people, the army, and the Resistance.

– The July Victory has thundered in the enemy’s ears for 17 years, preventing it from aggression out of fear of the Resistance’s presence and power, and during this period, the victory facilitated the reconstruction throughout Lebanon.

– We must thank the Islamic Republic of Iran, which supported us by all means and offered martyrs alongside us, such as Hajj Qassem [Suleimani], solely for the sake of supporting the truth.

– Iran remains by our side and will continue to do so, just as the banner of Resistance will remain raised high.

– Everyone must know that Palestine will always remain the compass, and whatever aggression the “Israeli” enemy commits with American support will not deter the Palestinian people from continuing their Resistance. They will be victorious because they are the rightful owners of the land and blood.

– We offer condolences for the Lebanese army martyrs who were martyred in Zibqin; they are martyrs of duty toward humanity and truth, martyrs of the Resistance, the army, and the nation.

– The Resistance is honor, pride, patriotism, and sovereignty; it grants martyrdom and needs no official certificates, nor from the arrogant, nor from anyone else.

– The Resistance gives achievements over time; it liberated the land in the South in 2000 and in the East in 2017 during the battle of Jaroud, in coordination with the Lebanese army.

– The Resistance liberated Lebanon’s independent sovereign choice, and we cannot speak of sovereignty without speaking of Resistance. It has shaped Lebanon’s strength in facing challenges, and these achievements are honorable.

– We must ask those who did not resist: where were you in the face of aggression, occupation, and sovereignty? The Resistance is a bright light and a shining sun for all

– The state’s acceptance of the ceasefire agreement and the Resistance’s support helped ensure adherence to its terms. After eight months of patience, we remain targeted as resistors and a resistant environment because we believed this phase requires patience.

– A survey by the Consultative Center shows that Lebanese do not see the army alone as capable of protecting Lebanon, and diplomacy alone is insufficient.

– The prevailing opinion of the Lebanese people is with the Resistance and its continuity.

– The government’s decision to disarm the Resistance strips it, its people, and Lebanon of defensive weapons during aggression, facilitating the killing of resistors and their families and their expulsion from their land and homes. It would have been more appropriate for the government to exert control and expel the "Israelis" from Lebanon.

– The government is serving the “Israeli” project.

– Is the government pleased with Netanyahu’s praise of its decision?

– We repeatedly said: stop the aggression and remove “Israel” from Lebanon, and we offered full facilitation during discussions of national defense and security strategy.

– The sinful decision is the government’s acceptance of facilitating the killing of its partners in the country to enjoy a promised life.

– You are not trying to protect Lebanon but to protect your lives at the expense of your partners’ lives in the country.

– Can the country remain stable if one faction attacks another?

– If you feel powerless, leave the enemy to confront us, and as "Israel’s" repeated wars failed, this one will also fail.

– The government’s duty is to build the country, not hand it over to the “Israeli” and American enemy.

– O owners of sovereignty and exclusive arms, did you not see the "Israeli" Chief of Staff in our land congratulating his soldiers on this occupation and promising them more, while you did not hear Netanyahu’s words about “Greater Israel”?

– Some Arab countries support “Israel” in striking the Resistance and its fighters.

– The government made a very dangerous decision that violates the national pact and destroys national security.

– Do not involve the army in this path; the army’s national record is clean.

– Removing legitimacy from the government through this decision, while the Taif Agreement and ministerial statement do not grant you this right, whereas the Resistance derives its legitimacy from blood and liberation and needs none from you.

– Hezbollah and the Amal Movement decided to postpone street demonstrations to allow room for discussion and amendments.

– The Resistance will not hand over its weapons; aggression continues, occupation persists, and we will engage in a Karbala-like battle if necessary against this "Israeli"-American project. We are confident of victory in this battle.

– The Lebanese government bears full responsibility for any potential sedition, internal explosion, or destruction in Lebanon and for abandoning its duty to defend Lebanon and its citizens.

– Let us unite in building the country; it cannot be built by one component without the other. This is our homeland together; we live with dignity together and build together, or there is no life for Lebanon if you stand on the other side. Either we live together or farewell to the world.

– Either Lebanon remains and we remain together, or farewell to the world, and you bear the responsibility.

❗️A series of Israeli airstrikes targted Ali al-Taher mountains a few ago

This location was previously attacked. This is an ex-IDF base which the IDF now alleges is a large Hezbullah facility destroyed during the war and they are ensuring it is not activated again

About three airstrikes targeted the location

Aside from the daily drone and airstrikes, the Israeli army has dozens of daily violations using small drone that are working many km deep into Lebanon.

While the Lebanese state and army are silent about major violations, they are doing nothing about these small insolated drone incidents

Yesterday, one crashed over the roof of a hospital in Nabatieh.

As for today's violations:

- An Israeli suicide drone struck an engineering vehicle in Aitaroun damaging it

- An Israeli drone dropped a sound grenade in Kfarkila town

- An Israeli drone dropped a sound grenade at a local in Kfarkila

- An Israeli drone dropped a soud  grenade in Ramiah town

Up until just this morning, I was wondering why is the argument made by pro-Hezbullah supporters that Hezbullah liberated the south and brought unprecedented peace between 2006 and 2023 isn't a breakthrough argument to justify why Hezullah's strength is a positive factor in Lebanon's national sovereignty

It made no sense why thus argument falls short...until

Until I understood that the peace that Hezullah brought was not peace lost by those people nor liberation of lands of those people.

Hezbullah did not liberate the lands of those against Hezbullah nor did Hezbullah bring peace to those who lacked peace

Hezbullah brought libration to those in south Lebanon (Shia, Sunni, Druze) and then peace for those there and especially Shia.

Else, the others neither lost land nor peace and no better understanding of the past than seeing the present that mimicks that past.

Today we Shia don't have peace and have lost security, while the others neither lost peace nor security.

Therefore the argument fails because it falls short from understanding that Lebanon is not one people, but rather a group of tribes who leeche off state and are segregated by imaginary borders.

Lebanese collectively never cared about the south nor the security of anything outside of historical Mount Lebanon.

From the oppression of the north to the lack of security to the south, as long as greater Beirut and surrounding Mount was prosperous, the so-called Lebanon was prosperous.
