Diplomatic sources in Beirut told Asharq Al-Awsat that the American paper consists of about 13 clauses, the most controversial of which is a clause that gives both parties the “right to self-defense,” which Lebanon fears will turn into the “freedom of movement” demanded by Israel and rejected by Lebanon
In addition to a clause stipulating the establishment of a monitoring committee to implement international resolution 1701, which ended the 2006 war, and stipulates a zone free of militants south of the Litani River.
The ruling include Israeli forces leaving occupied Lebanese territory, which we all know won't happen.
The sources indicated that Lebanon objected to the formation of this committee, which Washington wants to head, and Lebanese negotiators previously proposed expanding the current committee to include the United States and France, after Berri objected to Britain and Germany.
Speaker Berri confirmed to Asharq Al-Awsat that he had received the American proposal, and denied that it included any kind of freedom of movement for the Israeli army in Lebanon, asserting that the Americans and others know that it is unacceptable and cannot even be discussed in principle.
Berri added we cannot accept any infringement on our sovereignty. Berri also denied that the proposal that included the deployment of NATO forces or others in Lebanon.

Under extensive fire cover, Israeli soldiers renewed their incursion towards the outskirts of the town of Shamaa, which is connected to the town of Tayr Harfa, an area not visible to the opposing villages due to its geography.
- Artillery shelling targeted Hamoul area, the western outskirts of the town of Tayr Harfa and Alma al-Shaab.
- Israeli jets targeted the towns of Majdal Zun and the western neighborhood in Tayr_Harfa, opposite to the eastern where the IDF is passing through.

While in reality, the owners of every single house or apartment are talking about their houses being destroyed and most of these buildings not hosting any civilian office for Hezbullah.
From news radios to religious TV, to Qard al-Hassan to political and civilian offices, even when these exist, they aren't legitimate war targets. Attacking them is a war crime and no achievement.
Whovever actually believes Hezbullah owns that many apartments or buildings is delusional, especially someone who doesn't know that Hezbullah abandoned many many rented apartments due to the economic situation a few years ago. Again, those were civilian offices too.
As for full buildings, they don't own aside from the TV channel ones, and those were destroyed. There are may housing areas that are yet to be targeted too.
Beirut is not a combat zone. These attacks are simply war crimes. Not saying so to get western or Israeli's conscious, curse those. Just setting the record state.

🇮🇱 Yesterday an Israeli soldier leaked the photo of a destroyed MK-4 (Barak) tank, fully dismantled in Gaza.
The tank was destroyed after the resistance in Gaza detonated a re-purposed Israeli bomb. Something similar happened in Lebanon in 2006, sending the tower about 200 m away.
In this incident in Gaza, the driver survived, remarkably and only sustained minor burns to the face and neck. In an interview with the soldier before these images leaked, he can be seen visibly distressed with signs of PTSD and constant state of nervous displayed through his eyes and hand/finger movement
The other 3 crew were killed. Such photos are very rare as the Israeli army enforces hiding material losses tightly.
The driver surviving is yet a reminder how well made these tanks are and how they were built around the protection of the crew. This is why not every tank penetration in Gaza or Lebanon led to the death of the crews or full tank destruction.
