๐ฑ๐งl๐ฎ๐ฑ By reaching Chamaa, if the Israeli army is able to end the resistance there, they can move towards Al-Bayadah.
In Al-Bayadah, there is a hill that can threaten Al-Mansouri coastal town. In 2006 the Israeli army didn't enter Al-Mansori, and only reached its gates.
Back then, the army moved special forces by helicopters. Today again, helicopters are non-existent over Lebanon.
By encircling this area, they would threaten the whole south western coast, and then push towards those villages from a position of encirclement. A lot of open lands they can maximize territorial gain.
The battle now is very important, because failing will make the situation dramatically bad. The IDF is adamant at achieving its targets, and only a very heavy toll can force it to withdraw.

๐ธ It's quite a beautiful town. Inshallah I'll visit it after the war.
To the clown orfialkov, we Shia aren't idolators, your just ignorant.
It's for the prophet Shimon, a figure mentioned in both the Muslim and the Christian tradition. In Christianity, he is called "Saint Peter" - Shimon ben Yochanan - one of Jesus' disciples

๐ฑ๐ง About the diplomatic movement in Lebanon about this Israeli war
Diplomatic sources in Beirut told Asharq Al-Awsat that the American paper consists of about 13 clauses, the most controversial of which is a clause that gives both parties the โright to self-defense,โ which Lebanon fears will turn into the โfreedom of movementโ demanded by Israel and rejected by Lebanon
In addition to a clause stipulating the establishment of a monitoring committee to implement international resolution 1701, which ended the 2006 war, and stipulates a zone free of militants south of the Litani River.
The ruling include Israeli forces leaving occupied Lebanese territory, which we all know won't happen.
The sources indicated that Lebanon objected to the formation of this committee, which Washington wants to head, and Lebanese negotiators previously proposed expanding the current committee to include the United States and France, after Berri objected to Britain and Germany.
Speaker Berri confirmed to Asharq Al-Awsat that he had received the American proposal, and denied that it included any kind of freedom of movement for the Israeli army in Lebanon, asserting that the Americans and others know that it is unacceptable and cannot even be discussed in principle.
Berri added we cannot accept any infringement on our sovereignty. Berri also denied that the proposal that included the deployment of NATO forces or others in Lebanon.
