1. “I was in one of the houses when the bombing was all around. We moved into the tunnels, very afraid, not that Hamas would kill us, but that Israel would kill us and then say ‘Hamas killed them’.”

2. “We were bombed while inside the hideout. We were injured and smuggled out. In addition, we were shot at by a helicopter on our way to Gaza. [...] My husband was separated from us three days before our return to Israel and taken into the tunnels. And you are talking about flooding the tunnels with seawater?”

📰 Khaled Abdul-Rahman Ibrahim, born in 1985, is the Syrian refugee killed in Arnoun, Lebanon.

He was a member of the Syrian Baath political party. He's the brother of a slain Syrian army soldier.

Reports claim Al-Baath did an operation against Israel yesterday in Misgav A'am. This wasn't confirmed.

🔴 The Israeli army issued an apology for killing a member of the Lebanese army in its attack today. Says it is investigating.

The statement claims they were neutralising an imminent threat nearby.
