Mair Moyal, 55 y/o, is an Israeli army veteran and was killed on duty.

He is the second civilian contactor to be killed in a few weeks, after another died in an ATGM attack by Hezbullah on a logistics vehicle at an Israeli army base earlier this week.

📰 Two Israelis stole for 60K shekels at the festival massacre

Israel has indicted two cousins, Meir Hajjaj (48) and Golan Gharbi (33), for the aggravated theft of the property of music festival participants killed near Kibbutz Re'im in the 7-Oct surprise attack by Hamas.

The pair and an unnamed man are accused of driving to the site the day following the massacre (a site that was designated a closed military zone), telling policemen they wanted to help the victims, and, after touring the area, stealing dozens of jewelry pieces and expensive music/stage equipment, totalling 60K shekels ($16K) according to News1 and Mako reports on 8 ⁠Nov.

The indictment says the three did so “before the fighting subsided”! (Haaretz). Meir and Golan, who are Jewish settlers from Beersheba, are facing 4 years in prison.
