US sends its top general Mark Milley to Israel, amid growing concerns that the Netanyahu government's judicial overhaul is having devastating effects on the Israeli military's cabilities, especially when it comes to fighting Hezbullah and the resistance in general.

Today, at recommendation from Israel, the U.S. Department of the Treasury designated Lebanon-based Green Without Borders NGO and its leader on the sanctions list.

The NGO takes care of natural reserves in south Lebanon, in addition to planting trees and fighting deforestation.

The drilling rig arrived in Block ⁠9

A drilling platform has arrived to search for gas in Block ⁠9 near Palestine. A discovery could be made by the end of the year. TotalEnergies leads a consortium that includes Italian oil group ENI and state-owned QatarEnergy.

This is a reality thanks to the Lebanese army and Hezbullah's efforts to extract a maritime deal from the US and Israel (see ⁠map).

“Transocean Barents is a drilling semi-submersible. It will not be used to extract gas, it’ll drill the exploration well, then plug. If they want to extract after the well is appraised as commercially viable, it’ll take several years.”

Hezbullah raids an apartment in Hay Al-Selom to arrest a cell planning to carry a terrorist attack in Beirut Southern suburbs.

Allegedly, one jumped from the balcony to escape arrest. Five others arrested.

⋯ The terrorist that jumped, Syrian Wessam Dala, was found responsible for the explosion that took place on Ashoura, near Sayyeda Zeinab in Syria.

Hezbullah was attempting to arrest him for that crime before he committed suicide.
