🚨 Hebrew Media: IDF shot down three Hezbollah drones heading for the Karish gas field today, using F16 jets and navy ships

⋯ Update: One was shot down by a F-16 & two others were downed by the naval Barak 8 on the INS Eilat, marking the first time the system was used against aerial threats.

⋯ The UAVs were launched by Hezbullah as a warning, in light of the Isaeli response yesterday that it will not acknowledge Lebanon's rights in neither Karish or Qana and is contemplating further encroachment into Lebanon's territorial waters.

⋯ Video released by the IDF showing the 3 intercepted UAVs.

⋯ Judging by the lack of Red Alert alarms and the delay in reporting the incident, the incident likely took place over the international waters and not over the occupied Lebanese territories.

The UAVs were not armed, likely sent for reconnaissance and testing IDF AD response time.

⋯ 🚨 Statement issued by the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon:

This Saturday afternoon, 2/7/2022, the group named after the martyrs Jamil Skaf and Mahdi Yaghi launched three unarmed drones of different sizes towards the disputed area at Karish field which successfully carried out reconnaissance missions, and the message has been delivered.

Israeli jets are patrolling the skies of northern occupied Palestine.
