For anyone who cannot understand this, consider the NSDAP in 1933. The NSDAP was the ‘biggest’ party, but in no election did it become the majority. Had the NSDAP left or ignored the Conservatives, they would not have passed the Enabling Act.
That Act gave Hitler the power to execute and enforce without a Reichstag burden for four years. So, even if you dislike Republicans, you should have the sense to view Republicans as our current vessel to make and pass laws we benefit from.
