This will lead to CARD ONLY ticket purchasing, NO ASSISTANCE and another way to monitor and track where people go. The privacy implications are huge

Disabled people will be locked out of the transport system and stations will have little or no security / safety.

Elderly, children, those without “smart phones” or learning disabilities will not be able to get adequate and sufficient help in selecting and purchasing tickets

Here I give a summary on the last 18 months of campaigning and street based actions to save cash and why we are starting to win the war on keeping cash.

Cash has in fact been going up in circulation and use as tender for the last three years (as I’ve talked about for some time) so we must be careful at responding to headlines and question the timing.

However, it is of course good news and is mostly the result of the pressure of cost of living: it is well known economically that people revert to cash to manage their money in hard times (one of the many contradictions of the great re set agenda).

But we must still do all we can to promote cash use and boycott those who refuse it.

There is no excuse to go cashless.

The Post Office allows you to bank in cash at their counter and there’s still post offices compared to high street banks.

There are still some cash friendly bank accounts available for individuals and businesses.

Get out and help us promote cash.

I have been on the ground doing this for 18 months now.

It is paying off.

‘Be the change you wish to see in the world.’

I did not want to make a public post on this, but now I feel I have to.

There’s a video with my speech about the cashless society in Leicester circulating on tiktok (and it might be elsewhere) being used to promote this ‘we do not consent’ campaign that I did not agree for it to be used for, nor was I asked.

I can’t and do not wish to participate in this campaign because it’s based or erroneous information that I feel distracts us on our path to effective activism.

I strongly feel (and have always made this crystal clear) that the ‘common law alternative’ has been used (whether intentionally or not, unwittingly or not) to lead people astray.
Much of what is propagated in these common law cults or followings is false.

I can’t put my name or efforts to this and I feel as a movement we are no better than the liars in mainstream media, government or the corporate world if we endorse things that are misleading.

This is not personal at all, so please do not misinterpret this as a personal attack on anyone who has decided to support this. It’s simply my personal stance and values that I will always stand by.
