βTraders in a market town in Herefordshire have described being left short of cash and forced to travel miles with their takings, months after the last bank branch closed.
A number of shop owners have told the BBC they feel they are putting their own security at risk, by having to travel in order to bank their takings.
They're using cash even more than before the pandemic," said Hannah Symonds, owner of Brew cafe. She said at times she had been forced to dip into the tips jar for change - and had even asked the window cleaner. β

π₯³ Big news, everyone! We've achieved something truly remarkable. Over 50,000 responses were sent to the CBDC consultation, making waves big enough that even the MSM are having to pay attention! A massive shout out to every single person who took a stand.
A whopping 5,000 of you used our website to voice your concerns in the final 24 hours alone, demonstrating the power of collective action. We couldn't be prouder of this community!
The fight doesn't end here, though. The consultation may be closed, but it's not too late to make your voice heard. If you haven't already, we urge you to email your MP about CBDCs. We've even updated the letter to highlight the monumental public outcry shown in the consultation. United, we can continue to champion our rights and make a difference. πͺ

Please complete this consultation to say NO to the closure of rail ticket halls.
I am not endorsing everything about RMT or the officials (I am fully aware of the position they took during lockdown and how Mick Lynch backs moves towards net zero), butβ¦. I agree that cashless, unstaffed ticket halls must be stopped . Itβs all part of the WEF plan for a cashless, programmed, automated world.

A big thank you to everyone who turned up in Leigh yesterday.
We managed to cover all the shops in the town centre: distributing the βwe accept cashβ flyers for them to put on display.
We had lots of positive conversations with shop and business owners and many were visibly scared when I told them they will lose their businesses if we go cashless and move to programmable
money.
An example of effective action. β

This is our main event and will run until 6pm. It will be a full day packed with public speakers and live music from 1pm, followed by a march you do not want to miss (come in an orange jump suit to play a role). We will also be running our hell in a cell theme again as we did on Guantanamo May 13th in Bradford and community outreach throughout the day and finally a live breaks set with a difference from our BLFF resident DJ Angel Farringdon who I hope you will stay late and support as no one deserves it more.
