This is why ‘fifteen minute cities’ can’t work- there is no money (or to the point they wont allow there to be) to invest in what is needed to have ‘everything on your doorstep.’
The moves towards enforcement and punitive fines to travel can therefore only logically be concluded as a plan to remove our basic freedom of movement and all other rights that go with it.
If the fifteen minute city plans were really about a return to ‘localised economies’ (that have never truly existed anyway, as there’s always been internal migration for work) then they would invest in local job creation, new schools, hospitals, doctors surgeries within 15 minutes of every locality, there wouldn’t be enforcement or a removal of our rights.

This Saturday we ask those in the south west and west of England to come together and say NO to Fifteen Minute Ghettos.
We have a great line up of speakers and we will be leafleting the public.
There is a BR station in Swindon and its’s a ten minute walk
to Regent Street.
There are various car parks nearby (all 5 min walk):
Princes Street Car Park (right beside Regent St) takes cash but gets full on Saturdays.

Fleming Way Car Park (multi Storey). 13 Gordon Gardens, Swindon, SN1 1BB

Whalebridge Multi Storey Car Park, Islington Street, Swindon, SN1 1TN.
