➡️Violent clashes are currently underway between tribal forces and Druze militants in the towns of Shahba and Al-Ariqa in Sweida.

➡️The confrontations reportedly ignited after a group of Druze militants opened fire towards the tribal forces, in what is described as a violation of the ceasefire.

🇸🇾🚬Everybody got what they wanted except the Syrians.

When Ahmed Al-Sharaa (Former Al-Qaeda member later pledging aligance to ISIS then betrayed them) and his men broke the defenses of Bashar Al-Asad's army and made his way to Damascus, after a long time i and many including Syrians thought their's still some hope left for future of this god forsaken country.

People thought finally the people of Syria may see good days after decades of atrocities,famine,poverty.

We(the people who even had a drop worth of expectations) couldn't have been more wrong.

Many of us did anticipate whats going to happen next but still we had some hope. The Syrian coup was backed by a lobby of Turkiye,Israel and the US with Ukraine providing some support. These countries have/had 0 sympathy for Syrians and nor they wished them any good, they were in for their self intrest.

Turkey wanted to secure their border and find a way to send back Syrian refugees and most of all, finally end the long conflict with Kurds by surrounding SDF so they won't have any choice but to end support to PKK. And it finally happened, PKK laid down arms. WIN 🥇

United States of America wanted to remove Russians from the middle east. Assad was in power thanks to the Russians and Iranians. Also US got to keep Syrias oil fields and it was a WIN for them too

For Israel, it was a nothing short of Major victory as over the course of a week, Iran and its proxies were weakened so much so that they might not recover in decades, they also secured their border and used the Druze to establish a buffer zone between them and the Syrians.

But for the people of Syria, the violence continued. From slaughter of civilians to being bombarded by US led Coalition and Israel everyday. Joulani has/had little control over his militia, they started minor conflicts here and their.

Yes their may have been a Silver lining but at what cost?.

Sharaa went on with a "democratic, fedral style government" all the while responding with Brutal violence against uprisings,using the same under handed tactics uses by Assad regime. This caused a huge rift between multiple ethnic minorities and the so called government and i don't blame the minorities for that.

Now as things stand, many Syrians face the threat of being displaced from their lands and their's no one to blame except Ahmed Al-Sharaa and his poor leadership.
