The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is considering the possibility of reducing or eliminating the fee for electronic visas for Indian citizens.

This was mentioned by Maxim Reshetnikov, head of the Ministry of Economic Development, in an interview with RT on the sidelines of the BRICS summit. He recalled that the Indian side had previously eliminated the fee for electronic visas for Russian citizens.

Reshetnikov called for an increase in the number of flights between India and Russia – currently, there are only 15 per week.
