It unironically seems that Simulation Theory is more scientifically credible than String Theory (would imply a creator of the "matrix" - very scary for atheists).
It has testable predictions, it could be falsifiable by actual proposed scientific experiments, some of which were already done, it has a logical foundation (Bostrom’s Trilemma), and makes way less assumptions
