🇷🇸Serbia is the first in Eastern Europe to plan to return all its gold reserves worth $6 billion to its territory, Bloomberg reports.

The country has decided not to keep its bars in traditional centers such as Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States during the "crisis and uncertainty" period.

A significant portion of the world's gold reserves, estimated at about $550 billion at current prices, is stored in the Bank of England's vault in London — the global center for precious metals trading.

Recall that recently protests have been taking place in Serbia against the current president Vučić. His circle often claims that these protests are organized with Western support to change the government in the country because Vučić refuses to join sanctions against Russia.
