A picture from October 1921. The man in the middle is Kevin O'Higgins, the groom, Dev on his right and on his left is Rory O'Connor, his best man. O'Connor was the Director of Engineering in the IRA. As Minister for Justice, O'Higgins signed O'Connor's execution…
"Remember it is sweet and glorious to die for ones country. There were three others brought out with me, Liam Mellows, Rory O'Connor and Joe McKelvey. I presume that these three great men will pay the full penalty for loving Ireland. They will be a great loss to the cause of Irish freedom. They too, like me, regret that the executioners should be Irishmen. In the past they were English but the cause is the same, holy and triumphant...

I was not as good a son or as loving a brother as I might have been. I have caused you all a lot of worry and uneasiness but I know you will forgive me. The services of Ireland demand the giving up or perhaps in many cases the breaking of some family ties and dear friendships, but this is more than compensated for, because in the service of our Mother land we make acquaintanceship with the greatest of men. Men whose souls are in Communion with the spirits of our great martyred heroes. I hope that we shall meet in heaven sure it will be only a few years at most''

An Raibh Tú ag an gCarraig? ''Were you at the rock?'' This song speaks of Penal Days when the Mass was celebrated in secret at remote gatherings. The "Carraig" was the "Mass rock" used as a meeting-place and altar. According to native Irish "sean nos" singers…

Read the comments under this, they want to smack your children in the face and they think it’s funny some comments even saying it’s called “getting even against white people”

There’s also 0 proof this child has even said anything, literally 0 context, even then if you do this to a child who insults you you’re a pussy

Reminder a lot of Africans in Ireland think like this too. Just because video is in US doesn’t mean this poison isn’t here, plenty of videos and such past year where we’ve seen this behaviour
The moment Africans had something to get agitated about they locked Irish people in a shop chanting “I hope you die you racist white bastards” , attempted to pull people out of their cars to beat them, jumped on random passerby’s attacking elderly and women with children - and the media didn’t mention a thing

And that was just George Nkencho incident, nevermind the Carraigaline stabbing and other such incidents that’s have been documented here and in other channels

And they still justify it all on social media as “getting even” and the media was still giving sympathetic coverage to Nkencho months after he died and still never mentioned the African mobs that attacked Irish people
