A year on from the outbreak of what was then an unknown virus in the Chinese city of Wuhan. China has largely controlled the pandemic within its borders. Life has returned to normal in Wuhan and has not seen any new cases for six months. - RTÉ News
I believe China this time. China are using traditional vaccines (inactivated) whereas West is using experimental mRNA vaccines. This time last year/Jan 2020, Nationalists saw what was going on in China & called to close the borders & quarantine people coming home for what looked like a deadly virus outbreak in China & how if it reaches Ireland we’d probably be going under lockdown. We were called “WhatsApp Group Chat Conspiracy Theorists”. Then the virus got here and killed 1500+ elderly in care homes (60% of all deaths) in March/April. Government didn’t prepare when Nationalists called this beginning of year. Post BLM in May, everyone started realising virus is overblown . Now the gov calls these ppl, who called out the virus in Jan, conspiracy theorists.

''The man (21), who cannot be named for legal reasons, was aged 17 when he allegedly sexually assaulted and anally raped the girl in a derelict building during a game of truth or dare.
The sergeant said the accused's father then spoke to the accused in another language and encouraged his son to tell the truth. He said that after this, the accused said that whatever the complainant says was true.''
Wonder what ''other language'' it was.

Zero Covid-19 outbreaks have been traced back to Restaurants, Gastropubs, Hotels or Cafés in the last 2 weeks, ZERO! But once again NPHET are going for the soft target & recommending the closure of hospitality with no scientific proof. Time for mass non compliance by the industry

Reminder: The Irish Independent, Irish Examiner, Breaking news Eire, Sunday World and Nationalist and Leinster times all had court injunctions taken out on them to hide his conviction.
They covered it up because ''Akinade was due to be deported after his conviction, but was granted asylum by Justice Barton because he was a ‘hot prosepect for the future for Irish football''

2017. Even after his conviction for gang raping a child was public, left wing supporters of Bohemians cheered Izzy Akinade as his migration story was the embodiment of modern day Bohemians. Sad stuff.

Moses Lulendo (19), an African man living in Ireland, has been jailed for just 18 months for being part of a large mob who tried to storm their way into Lost Lane nightclub (formerly Lillie's Bordello) off Grafton St in Dublin and petrol bomb it. (The captions are not mine in the security footage above).
Lulendo, of Gardiner Place in Dublin city, has 16 previous convictions including public order offences committed on July 16, 2019, nine days after the incident. He also pleaded guilty to two robberies of an iPhone at a playground on October 29, 2017.

The incident occurred on the 7th of July 2019. I remember at the time Marlay Park had been hosting the Longitude Festival over the weekend. The line up included a number of rap and grime acts.
The US state department at the time issued advice for American citizens to stay away tweeting that "reports indicate a potential for violence" and that gardaí had increased security and were monitoring the situation. No warning was given to Irish citizens and gardaí refused to comment.
The promoters, MCD, balked at the suggestion violence could occur and said they were shocked the American government said that it might.
As it turned out, no serious incidents were reported to have occurred at the festival (perhaps because of the increased garda presence and monitoring) but whatever rap beef the US State Department was privy to came to fruition on Sunday night at a sort of after party at the Lost Lane night club who were hosting Naira Marley — a Nigerian grime artist who lives in Peckham (real name Azeez Adeshina Fashola and no relation to Bob).
A large gang of around 20 yoofs tried to storm the night club and one of them was caught on CCTV attempting to light the fuse of a petrol bomb. The club’s door staff managed to seal the doors, thwarting the attack and also recovered a cache of weapons hidden inside a Brown Thomas bag — including an axe, hatchet and a crow bar — before gardaí arrived.
Two of the door staff suffered minor injuries. It took them 45 minutes to clear the club with many demanding a refund of the €25 they paid for the gig.
Detective Garda Sarah Barry told the court that after 17 years working in the city centre, she had never seen anything like this incident. In a victim impact report, a doorman from the venue said he had worked for over a decade in security and this incident was the most vulnerable he had felt in that time. He said he grew up in Belfast and was very aware of the devastation that could be caused by petrol bombs.
The media downplayed the incident as much as they could and offered no commentary on the violence championed in the grime music scene and its real life consequences — probably much too busy penning articles about Black Lives Matter and dreaming up ways to disenfranchise Irish people who don't want their cities, towns and villages turned into the multiculti utopias that British ones have become.
In the aftermath, MCD attempted to sue the Irish Times for suggesting the incident may have been connected to the Longitude music festival.
Not sure what came of that but I agree with MCD as it was connected to the inherent violence of the grime music scene which we're not allowed to talk about.
