Today we took part in the torchlight march organized by Ciwanên Şoresger, the revolutionary youth in Rojava. On the eve of the 27th anniversary of the international conspiracy to kidnap Abdullah Öcalan. Where more than 20 countries and several intelligence services participated.
A plot to try to end the Kurdish revolutionary movement. Without a doubt a black day in the history of the Kurdish people, but also without a doubt, we can say, that the imperialist forces could not fulfill their goal, to end the Kurdish revolutionary movement and its ideas.
The Kurdish revolutionary movement responded, to protect Abdullah Öcalan, today we also salute the martyrs who took his body in flames making a ring of fire to protect Rêber Apo.
But, the plot continues, it resumed its path with the attacks of February 6 in Aleppo, where once again international alliances put aside their differences to find a joint path, to try to erase the threat from the map.

Shengal (Sinjar) in northern Iraq remains shaped by the 2014 genocide carried out by Islamic State against the Yazidi people, when thousands were killed, women were enslaved, and communities were uprooted. In the aftermath, local self-defense forces and grassroots councils formed to protect the community and build self-determination.
For years, Shengal has been a zone of contested power between Baghdad, the Kurdistan Regional Government, militias, and Turkey.
In the last few days, Iraqi army forces have set up a new checkpoint without prior coordination with local Yazidi security forces — raising fears of renewed tensions. This expansion comes amid regional pressures and diplomatic efforts to manage the disputed status of the area, but local voices fear that more militarization could undermine fragile stability.
Shengal still symbolizes an ongoing struggle against genocide, external domination, and self-rule — where the fight is not just about security, but about political autonomy and dignity.

In January 2026, as the Rojava Revolution faced brutal attacks, the Kurdish people and thousands of internationalists standing with them mobilized around the world to stop the aggression.
The aim of the offensive was not only physical but also ideological: to attack the values and principles at the heart of the revolution—women’s liberation and the brotherhood and sisterhood of peoples.
The mass mobilization succeeded in putting an end to the attacks and protecting these values.
