🇪🇺🇷🇺 – The EU cannot completely ban the issuance of tourist visas to Russians, said EU Commissioner for Security and Migration Magnus Brunner.
"As you know, visas are under the jurisdiction of member states. The European Union does not have the ability to completely ban their issuance," he said at a joint press conference with the Finnish Interior Minister Mari Rantanen.
He noted that in some member states the number of visas issued to Russians is increasing, which worries the European Commission.
