When we arrived in Hama...negotiations broke out between us and the Russians...When we arrived in Homs, the Russians had withdrawn from battle...as part of an agreement between us and them. This had a positive impact on the battle.

We're not saying there's a permanent rift between us and Iran...provided there is respect for the Syrian situation, no interference in our internal affairs, no incitement of sectarian strife of any kind
